Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Cherokee County

Perfect cozy, quiet cottage with the best porch! Got lucky and had rain the entire time, there is nothing like a storm on a tin roof. Felt private even with neighbors. Would love to stay again!

Great time at Robert’s place. We enjoyed every moment. We especially loved that back porch and the dock!!! Very nice neighbors. Very quiet and peaceful. Kids had fun on the dock catching some blue gills, yellow bellies and cat fish. Will definitely check availability again next time we visit our children.

My spouse & I took our 3 kids here for a mini vacation! It was a dream, they provided paddle boards/canoes/games. We didn’t catch any fish so bring your A game! The house was clean & homey. Will definitely plan to be back! Thanks for having us!

The groomsmen and I stayed here for my wedding weekend. There was plenty of room for all 9 of us. We played board games and hung out inside the house and on the pier. We will definitely be back for a guy’s weekend. The house was ready early, so the host let us check in early. We didn’t get a chance to use the kitchen, but it was fully stocked with pots, pans, plates, and bowls. Beds were comfortable, lake views were amazing. While you’re here check out decks and docks, 360 grill, and Jake’s on the lake. Gadsden isn’t very far away and has a lot of food options and fun things to do.

Our stay here was incredible and we were heart broken to leave! We said we easily could have stayed another week! We felt totally at home here and had everything we needed for cooking and recreation. We loved the fire pit and the kayaks 🤍 The host was generous with access to their personal belongings making it so easy to settle in here. The view is absolutely astounding and that part of the lake is so peaceful. We loved that a HUGE part of the lake around this property is very shallow but still easy to get a boat in. 2-3 feet deep. We were traveling with kids and this allowed us to rest our minds a bit around the water. We will absolutely be back here!

This was our second stay at this house! We absolutely love this home. The water and the scenery are beautiful. The late night fire in the fire pit was amazing. Jeremy is amazing to rent from. Very flexible and always responsive! I wish I could give it greater than 5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

This spot is a hidden gem! The view in the back was absolutely beautiful and it was close enough to town that we could easily go where we wanted but far enough out that it was quiet and peaceful. The overall atmosphere was just great. I cannot recommend enough. We will definitely be staying again in the future!

I can’t say enough good things about this place!!! It was absolutely adorable and just like the pictures. Inside had everything you would need for a nice stay. To me, what makes an airbnb great is a comfortable bed, air that blows cold, and feeling safe there. This place had all 3! This was my first solo trip so if I felt safe anyone will. The cabin is connected to another house but I had no issues with the guests there. I got the privilege of meeting Claire and she was so kind! If i’m ever in the area again this is the place i’d stay!

Very relaxing stay! Although it rained all the days we were there, it was great family bonding time with many games played and time spent fishing when we could. The house was as advertised. Only a couple of minor things came up that in no way hindered our stay. It would be normal things that would happen at your own home. Roger was always quick to respond with answers to questions that we had and was very helpful during the booking process. All of our kids made the statement that they would rather come back and stay here than go on a big trip. If you’re looking to get away and enjoy family time, this place is perfect for just that! Needed a place to stay for Christmas and this was perfect for our needs. Has everything you need for a quick getaway. Dog friendly which is so helpful!

This place was fantastic! The communication with the host was always quick. The parking is a little tight if all the units are in use if you have a larger vehicle. Great value and perfect location for us.

Great value and location! Being able to park right in front of the apartment with no stairs to climb was great. The 3 of us were more comfortable here for 6 days than we would have been in a hotel, for sure, and would stay again! Some things to be aware of: 1. You need to take out the trash before you check out. 2. There is no dish washer, and you are supposed to hand wash any dishes you use before you leave. If we'd known that at the beginning of our stay we would not have used any dishes in the kitchen, not knowing the cleanliness standards of who used them before us. 3. There is almost no counter or shelf space available for personal items in the bathroom. There is a handy bedside table just outside the bathroom though. 4. Parking can be a bit tight if the units to either side of yours are occupied, but there is a place where you can easily turn around or park if you don't have enough room in front of your unit.

The apartment is very cute in a great location with great amenities.

Mike and Sandy’s place was very nice and peaceful. We have stayed here many times and have loved it every time. Mike and Sandy are very nice and very helpful. I would rent from them every time I am in the area.

Full amenities to the max they had EVERYTHING you could need. It is super secluded down lots of narrow bumpy roads surrounded by woods and no street lights so be aware of what you drive on this trip. Beautiful inside and out an absolute dream vacation! There are wood boring bees out front and on the back balconies so be cautious if you have allergies. They cleared out whenever I went outside so they won't bother you. 10/10 would book this again next summer!

Loved our peaceful girls’-trip stay in Heather & Michael’s beautiful mountain house. The view is unmatched— and we have been a lot o’ places in the mountains of Alabama, Georgia, Tennessee, North Carolina, CO, and beyond.~ As is the case with most spectacular views, there is a bit of a drive into the elevation to arrive. *If you are a city-dweller, unused to lengthy, gravel roads— be prepared to follow the customized directions by the hosts -to the specified entrance- so you do not have to encounter the steeper road ~unless you are driving in a preferred 4wd~ We utilized google maps and had some issues w/its info.* The house is spacious with a well-stocked kitchen (we cooked all of our meals here as there is no doordash availability, though we did get groceries delivered from a local grocery store). Soo much comfortable seating! Also, the hosts provided numerous board + card games. Fabulous, five-star stay! Thank you, again, to the great hosts.

We stayed for our anniversary trip it was great. This is probably the cleanest place we have ever rented and we plan to stay again. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a getaway very peaceful.
