Holiday rentals with lake access in Chesapeake

This was an AMAZING SPACE!!. Great floorplan, great amenities, and it will be a perfect space for your family. It was clean, spacious, and had everything we needed and more.. The beds, pillows, and linens were very comfortable, and the kitchen had PLENTY of tableware and utensils for the family. My family and I will certainly return.

This was a great long stay vacation for my first time. Everything look just like the pictures. The area was very quiet, peaceful and neighbors were friendly. The view of the ocean was amazing and the park nearby was great for the kids. Bethany was very nice and responsive to all my needs and questions. This was an amazing stay and I would definitely book with her again.

Absolutely loved the home and the whole experience! Our only issue was in our arrival and not being aware that high tide would impact when you should attempt getting to the house. More information regarding the tide schedule and if the roads within the houses are accessible would be very helpful. Recommendation to stop at the grocery store before you each the beach access road and what types of things are not supplied at the house would be good, too. Overall we were so very pleased with our stay and Misty was great when we needed her. I would absolutely recommend this house to my friends and family and would love to visit again!

Andrew's home was wonderful for our crew of 6! It's located in a quiet peaceful neighborhood 30 seconds fromTimbuc II where there is a nice variety of shops and restaurants. The kitchen was well stocked with anything we needed for cooking & baking. The beds were comfortable and the bedrooms were large enough where we didn't feel cramped even after bringing our suitcases in. The water pressure is excellent in each of the showers, which was perfect in order to ensure we could rinse off the salt and sand as needed. The hot tub was a nice bonus along with all the games in the basement. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and highly recommend!

Susan is a great host! She was responsive, helpful, and welcoming. The home was clean, comfortable, and as described. It is family friendly and very spacious with lots of room. We look forward to come back again next summer!

There may not be enough space to describe this home. It far exceeded my expectations. It offered every comfort of home. Everything I brought with me to make the stay comfortable, they already supplied. You name it, they had it. The house was beautifully decorated with far more space than depicted in the pictures. The living room is far more spacious than expected. We wanted for nothing. The responsiveness of the host may be the best I’ve ever experienced. We had a snafu with the thermostat. Not only was there a quick response to our inquiry, a technician arrived w/i 30 mins and quickly resolved the issue. The technician explained what the problem was and stayed long enough to make sure his “fix” truly resolved the issue. Those accompanying me during the stay kept raving about the home. It truly felt like home with ample dishes, almost every kitchen appliance imaginable, comfy beds, beautiful decor, a stunning setting, ample space and great communication. Well Done!

Absolutely loved this beach house — it was everything we hoped for and more. Spotless and well-kept, with plenty of space, including extra rooms that came in handy. The walk to the beach was quick and easy, making it perfect for spontaneous trips to the shore. The house had everything we needed, from kitchen supplies to beach gear, which made the stay super convenient. The hot tub and pool were a major highlight — clean, relaxing, and just what we needed after a day out. And the best surprise? Just a two-minute drive down the street, we got to see wild horses for free. Make sure you guys have an all wheel drive car to see the horses! It felt like a hidden gem. This place is 100% worth it. We’d come back in a heartbeat.

We loved our stay at Karen’s place. The apartment is very comfortable, and the views are spectacular. I wish we had more time to enjoy the offerings. We hope to come back again!

This place was beautiful and cute I feel like they should show the actual pictures instead of using Ai because it’s very beautiful inside and outside. Peaceful environment and friendly atmosphere. It’s also very quiet for the most part. I loved the gym that was there as well! My only thing is I wish the washing machine and dryer worked as we went to the beach and had to wash and dry some clothes other then that it’s absolutely gorgeous and perfect for family and friends.

I would definitely stay here again! My absolute favorite part was the deck outside. It had so much seating and a table with an umbrella. The home was lovely. The queen size bed was comfy. The space on the side of the bed with the wall is awkward because the intake vent is there, and that vent is also loud and annoying. Just wear earplugs! We added two of the wooden tray tables from the closet as night stands. The house is clean except the floor, which I'd imagine is hard to sweep or mop because the boards have shifted, making the floor uneven with cracks through out. So the floor felt and looked a bit dirty, but you're by the beach with sand, so eh not a problem.

Everything went well for my stay-cation. I am familiar with the area and decided to try one of the Airbnbs. The apartment was clean, quiet, and we'll appointed. My only issue was actually with the Airbnb app, it kept lagging for both of us when we messaged each other. All in all, a great atay.

My friends and I stayed for a few days the space was clean and comfortable we felt right at home sitting in the living room together on the big couch, we needed something small just to accommodate the few of us and this worked perfectly not far from stores and fast food which we liked overall great place! We would stay again .

Perfect family vacation for our family of four and our geriatric black lab. The kids loved the pool, the canal (we brought a kayak and paddleboard, but you can easily rent them…never saw a boat navigating it so traffic was almost nonexistent, and it was a peaceful and beautiful paddle, and they went fishing off the little dock), and the very short walk to the beach! The pool had lots of shade and a great breeze for the dog, and he loved the spacious yard that was dog friendly. I loved the simplicity of the house itself — it had everything we needed but was cozy and we didn’t have to run up and down stairs all day…important because our dog is too old to handle that. The closest beach aches didn’t have stairs either! Easy to get on the beach and not crowded. Steve and Tracy were easy to communicate with and friendly. I’m sure they would have jumped at the chance to fix any issues, there just weren’t any!!! This was the most relaxing beach vacation I’ve ever had! Highly recommend!

Stayed here for Memprial Weekend. Wasn't sure on how busy it would be, but turned out great. This house is literally just a quick minute walk to a private beach. Made watching the sunrise so easy to do. The house feels spread out, which is perfect for multiple families. The kitchen was well stocked with all the necessities. The AC cools the entire house, much needed on hot days. The beds were also super comfortable. Hot tub was such a nice way to end the day. James was super quick on answering any questions that popped up during my stay. This entire community is really nice with lots of places to walk the dog. Was hard to leave, can't wait to come back

This place was perfect for our family when we stayed. The room upstairs was adorable and worked out fantastic for my 2 younger boys, there was a pullout bed in the couch for when they wanted to sleep downstairs. The entire place was cute and clean, the area is quiet and calm with a beautiful view of the sound. I would recommend this place if you're looking to unwind and relax.
