I can't say enough great things about this place, it's a true gem! A truly magical experience, the attention to detail and the whole atmosphere and feel of The Wizards Retreat is amazing, you can tell how much care and love has gone into creating it! Dan & Lydia are wonderful accommodating hosts, clear instructions and quick to respond throughout. Perfect location for the Harry Potter studio tour a short drive away! Couldn't recommend highly enough, and I'm sure we'll return again soon! Mischief managed....for now x

Beautiful area and nice little cottage, no complaints to be had.

We stayed at Lee's for four months while my husband was shooting a movie at the nearby bovingdon airfield. This is the perfect location in terms of proximity to the studio. The place is very clean, quiet and peaceful. There are footpaths at the end of the driveway to a sprawling forest, ending at the common where there's a nice pub. You'll need a car here to reach most things, but this was expected in the countryside. The shower is a little small for tall people (my husband), but otherwise the place is wonderful and has absolutely everything you need. Lee even had the place cleaned once a week, included in the fee. A great option for filmmakers who don't mind being in the country.

Spent 3 nights in this charming cabin, a most peaceful spot amidst trees, birdsong and greenery. Julie and her family could not have been more friendly and helpful. The bed was very comfortable, with space for relaxing or working, and options for breakfast left for the guest. I would definitely recommend this accommodation and will return when I can. Easy to get into London by train.
