Holiday rentals with breakfast in Chittenden County

What a beautiful stay this was. My partner and I only stayed for a couple nights, our main reasoning for the visit was the Golden Dog Farm. This place was perfect for us. Loved Tonya, and her pets too of course. What a sweet lady and perfect home!

Deborah was a great host, very responsive and fun to chat with. She also was flexible with check in times which was very appreciated as I had an early flight. The included breakfast was such a wonderful treat and her home is located in a great area, easy walking distance to local attractions, shops and restaurants.

We traveled from various parts of the country to Vermont for a cousin’s wedding in nearby Colchester, and staying at Frank and Carol’s farmhouse was the perfect choice. They were incredibly welcoming, communicative, and helpful throughout our stay. The historic home is tucked away in a quiet, scenic area with a charming brook alongside it. Mornings on the porch with a cup of Green Mountain coffee were a highlight. I also recommend taking a morning stroll to meet the friendly local farmers-such a peaceful and authentic experience. Highly recommend!

We enjoyed our stay at Gary's home very much. It was exactly what home sharing should be; we had privacy, but we felt at home in Gary's house. He shared his time with us, welcoming us into his space (we even had a parking space in his garage!). He made breakfast each morning and we enjoyed chatting and sharing stories over coffee. His home is very comfortable and is located in a most beautiful setting with expansive views of the fields, hills and mountains. Downtown Burlington is only 20 minutes away. There are shopping opportunities and eating establishments along the way if needed. We did a short and sweet morning hike up Mt Philo located just down the road, but Camel's Hump is also nearby (you can see it from Gary's deck) if something more rigorous is desired. We heartily recommend Gary's place and hospitality.

Exceeded my expectations and was worth every penny. Karyl and Bob are the kindest, moat accommodating hosts, and their place on Lake Champlain is wonderful. If my kids were younger, I’d bring them to RingDangDoo for a week long vacation lol. I hope I return someday for a longer stay, just to hang out with Karyl & Bob haha

Ben's spot is in a great location for access to local mountains and amenities - but the property itself and abutting state park made so we really just wanted to enjoy the house. Ben was communicative and accommodating. One thing to be aware of is if you visit in the winter you may need to do some shoveling and clearing to use the hot tub, but our group didn't mind and the outdoor fire pit and hit tub was GREAT for apres ski. All in all, perfect spot for a group ski trip - we didn't want to leave! Thanks Ben!

We had a wonderful stay with Jane and Seamus. Their home is beautifully decorated and extremely clean. But most of all, they are the quintessential hosts, making us feel extremely comfortable and sharing stories of bee keeping and their garden and changes made to the home. Bedding was beautiful and bed was very comfortable. Bathroom had the most wonderful soaps. A lovely place to stay with wonderful hosts!

My parents & I & my older daughter were there for my youngest daughter’s college graduation from UVM. It was our second stay & this time we rented both apartments. It is an ideal location to downtown & we loved Barrio Bakery & the close by yoga studio! My father enjoyed the well planned & well tended gardens from the deck overlooking the back yard.

Hiltraut was an excellent host. She was very dedicated to maintain communication with me and making sure that I was having a nice stay. The apartment is just as described in the listing and pictures; it even is bigger in person. She welcomed me and showed me around the place; and had breakfast foods and fruits for me in the kitchen. The place is really well cleaned and well kept. Really close to downtown Burlington and the highway.

Wonderful stay! Very clean and inclusive of all amenities. Host was very available and helpful. Delicious, host provided, breakfast basket to enjoy with our coffee. Very comfortable beds. Beautiful back porch with table and chairs which was a great spot to take in the sunsets and sunrises on Lake Champlain. Amazing lake views! Highly recommend.

Very comfortable homey space with all of the amenities you could need. The washer and dryer were super helpful for this long stay. The bathroom -- and the jetted tub -- are pure luxury. Deborah and Peter are extremely helpful, friendly, quiet and respectful of as much privacy as you want. We chatted with them regularly, even had dinner with them, and now count them as friends. It's in a very quiet, safe and small town where you can walk around. There is a local lake a very short walk away, a pub at the end of the road open four evenings a week, and a breakfast place (Huddy's) just another minute beyond that. Considering how small the town is, that's pretty good. Also, a 10 min drive away is a big grocery store and full amenities. It was a great place to stay for a month and we enjoyed every minute of it. Thank you!

Do yourself a favor and stay with Mick and Karen. Great rooms, amazing breakfast, friendly hosts—you leave their inn feeling like you made 2 new friends. :) We plan to return next time we find ourselves in the Mad River Valley.

I had a wonderful time staying here. My room was peaceful and the location is serene. It was a lovely communal atmosphere in the kitchen and common areas which added to my experience while I was there. Would recommend and look forward to returning some day!

Carin and Luke’s bed and breakfast is a beautiful getaway. The grounds are gorgeous and so peaceful. Both Carin and Luke were so kind and helpful and breakfast was delicious. They also have a lovely assortment of tea so I spent the rainy evenings I was there sipping on a hot cup of tea on the covered front porch overlooking the gardens and pond. Thank you for such an amazing stay!

A great place to stay in the Valley close to all of the action! Tim and Rick were gracious and wonderful hosts. The pancakes in the morning were phenomenal.

So this was mine and my husbands first ever Bed and Breakfast experience and let me tell you the bar was set HIGH! Between frequent and easy communication, to allowing early check in for us, to the kind atmosphere and perfect breakfasts- this was by far one of my most favorite trips! Would stay here again and again!

Words cannot describe what an amazing experience we had at the Yellow Farmhouse B&B. Leanne and David are the ultimate hosts. From start to finish everything exceeded our expectations. Upon arrival we were warmly greeted and given a tour of the property. The space was immaculate and beautifully decorated. Our bedroom and bathroom were not only spotless and gorgeous, but very comfortable. The location was perfect and our hosts went out of their way to give us recommendations and directions for nearby exploring and dining. We were fortunate enough to experience the fall colors and enjoyed exploring Stowe, Queechy and North Hero. Our 2 breakfasts were among the best we have ever had, Leanne and David go above and beyond with delicious food that is presented in a very special manner. Overall, our experience was nothing short of incredible. We cannot recommend this property highly enough. Thank you for such a memorable stay-we will definitely be back!

We stayed 3 nights at Willow Pond B&B and it exceeded our expectations. The property is probably the most pristine and scenic we've stayed at for an Air BnB. We were hosted by Saskia, the owner's daughter. Saskia was very welcoming, provided wonderful tips and baked delicious pastries. The B&B was super clean and comfortable. The house looked out onto Willow Pond, Le Duc Farm and rolling fields. We enjoyed a stroll on the grounds the first day before heading into Burlington, VT, about 20 minutes away. We visited the farmer's market and rented bikes to explore the Burlington bike path and Colchester Causeway, a trail that takes you into Lake Champlain. After 20 miles of biking, we stopped at the Skinny Pancake for a crepe and coffee. That evening, we ate at Paulines, per Saskia's recommendation, which was a short drive from Willow B&B. The food was top notch. My husband had the schnitzel and I had the scallops. We enjoyed some wine, soup and salad and the price was very reasonable. The next day we drove to Camel's Hump State Park about 35 minutes drive and hiked to the summit. Amazing views. On our final day we visited Shelburne Farms before heading back home to Massachusetts. We would definitely love to visit Willow B&B again, next time with the family. It is conveniently located, has amazing views and welcoming accommodations.
