Family-friendly holiday rentals in Chorafakia

Mein Freund und ich waren 5 Tage in der Unterkunft und waren sehr zufrieden mit unserem Aufenthalt. Die Wohnung ist im Erdgeschoss eines schönen modernen Hauses. Die Wohnung war sehr gut ausgestattet, es fehlte an nichts. Hervorzuheben ist die schöne Terrasse mit Whirlpool. Die Lage ist super. Es sind circa 15 Minuten Autofahrt bis zum Zentrum Chanias. Mehrere Strände sind fussläufig zu erreichen. Das Haus selbst ist ruhig gelegen. Es bietet einen guten Ausgangspunkt, um Kreta zu erkunden. Katerina und ihr Mann sind tolle Gastgeber. Bei Ankunft erwartete uns ein frischer griechischer Salat, Orangen und Wein. Wir bekamen ein paar Tage später frisches Gemüse aus dem Garten. Katerina war stets erreichbar und sehr freundlich. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Insgesamt würden wir die Unterkunft weiter empfehlen! 5/5 Sterne!

Es war super schön hier. Wir wurden herzlich empfangen und die Kommunikation verlief reibungslos. Die Unterkunft ist wie auf den Bildern. Man ist ein bisschen am Berg oben, was super schön ist, da es dort viel ruhiger ist. In die Stadt und zum Strand kommt man super zu Fuß. Wir waren sehr zufrieden.

La vue est magnifique. La vieille ville est à 30 minutes de marche. Les lits sont confortables et il y a suffisamment de draps et de serviettes. Cuisine bien équipée. Téo est très avenant et il est facile de communiquer avec lui. Je recommande.

Just back from 10 amazing days at Casa del Mar - an oasis of peace and quiet, from wherever you're coming from. The house sits atop a hill, with the most wonderful views across the sea to an island and the rest of the Cretan mainland. That view was the backdrop to many meals, family conversations, and fun-filled evenings. The house is large, with plenty of room for the 8 of us who stayed there. Great facilities throughout, with AC, 4 clean bathrooms, and two kitchens. We used the outdoor grill one evening to make BBQ and it worked well (charcoal). The infinity pool was another meeting place throughout the week. Deep, clean, and with that same incredible view, we spent a LOT of time in it. The family also enjoyed a very unique aspect to this house - direct access to the sea from the path that winds down from the house. We spent hours snorkeling here, up and down the coast, and saw a large number of fish and other sea life. Overall, an oasis of calm. Run, don't walk!

Unser Aufenthalt in Chania war wunderbar. Die Wohnung ist sehr geräumig und die Aussenbereiche wunderschön. Ioanna war sehr gut erreichbar und freundlich.

Great stay, great location, great views. Very close to many bars and restaurants. Not too noisy at night. The only slightly negative aspect was the shower. Basically made the entire floor flooded. Overall, i would recommend the place and would definitely return.

Hidden gem! Loved this home, literally two minute walk to Golden Beach. Katerina is so sweet (she met us in-person, had local restaurant recommendations, and even provided a bottle of wine). The home was perfect for our group of 6 (great value for the money, too). Would 100% come again!

We had a wonderful stay at Villa Kedria! Along with the amazing view of Chania and Souda, the house was incredibly beautiful, clean, and provided everything we needed for our stay in Chania. The hosts were extremely hospitable and responded to every question and request promptly. They went above and beyond to ensure our stay was an extension of their home. They provided all of the necessary baby gear and essentials for our little one, who also had a great time enjoying the pool. We’ve never had more caring and responsive hosts. They gave us so many travel tips and food recommendations that made our stay here in Chania one of our most memorable vacations. HIGHLY recommend staying here!

Cannot overstate what a great experience this was, thanks to the atmosphere of the place and to Giannis's kind and attentive hosting. Beautiful accommodation on 3 floors, with indoor and outdoor spaces. We were in the heart of the lively Old Town, yet felt private and quiet at night. Ideal base from which to explore western Crete.

There will not be enough superlatives to describe this place. The location overlooking the Venetian Harbor was amazing. The house is historic, beautiful and has all the amenities you will want. You literally won't believe the large rooftop deck with crazy views. The house had lots of interesting things to read, lots of space for a large group and it was stocked with maps and guidebooks. The neighborhood is completely safe. The in-person welcome from the hosts contained some really thoughtful surprises (you will need to find out yourself - I won't ruin the surprise welcome.). El apartamento es tal cual se ve en las fotos, la terraza es enorme, muy fresca, cómoda para desayunar, comer o cenar viendo el mar. Costas siempre estuvo disponible, y nos dejó una cesta de frutas, magdalenas y chocolatinas. La zona es fantástica para pasar unos días y conocer parte de la isla, es una zona turística pero muy tranquila y cómoda, alado del precioso pueblo de Chania, la Canea que es maravilloso y desde el apartamento se puede llegar andando con un precioso paseo de una hora, en coche son menos de 10 minutos y en autobús que para alado de casa también. Todo muy cómodo. La playa también está bien y la de alado es muy bonita.

Superbe maison, très bien située , endroit très calme et reposant. Nous avons passé un excellent séjour. La maman de Gregoris nous a très amicalement accueillis et nous a fourni d excellents conseils. Je recommande sans hésiter.

Andreas und Georgia waren unglaublich gastfreundlich, hilfsbereit und immer erreichbar, wenn man Fragen hatte. Gleichzeitig haben sie einem aber auch alle Freiheiten gelassen. Besonders schön fand ich die kleinen persönlichen Aufmerksamkeiten, die den Aufenthalt wirklich besonders gemacht haben. Ich würde jederzeit wiederkommen und kann die Unterkunft uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen. Vielen Dank für alles – ihr seid fantastische Gastgeber!

Absolutely beautiful location, 2 minute walk to the main Old Port area and tons of nice shops in the back streets.

Alkis was an amazing host! He went above and beyond with helpful directions and recommendations. Daily check-ins and lots of cleaning via whats app, to ensure we were happy. He even helped navigate the streets by piloting us through some closed roads when we went anywhere, many thanks Alkis.

This place was super cute and very convenient in a area in town that is close to everything but not loud at night and less touristy. I would definitely recommend it and he was very responsive as a host. Every time I call he was there right away and answered right away. The place is also very attractive.

Wir durften zwei schöne Wochen im Blue Beach Hotel verbringen. Unser Zimmer war klein aber ansprechend eingerichtet und die Aussicht vom Balkon mit tollem Meerblick. Der Strand war schön und zu dieser Jahreszeit waren wir fast unter uns. Emmanuel und Yannis sowie das gesamte Personal waren freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wir würden jederzeit wieder kommen!

Wonderful Experience at the Villa Elias! Our stay at the villa was perfect. The sea view was breathtaking, especially during sunset – a true sense of calm, quiet, and complete privacy. Choosing this villa was an excellent decision, especially because of the heated pool, which the kids absolutely loved. They enjoyed both swimming and playing in the spacious garden. The villa is well-equipped, with many useful items that made our stay very comfortable, including an air pump for pool toys. The location is also great – close to shops, supermarkets, and pharmacies. Wir wurden sofort super herzlich vom Vermieter empfangen. Die Unterkunft war traumhaft schön, der Anblick kaum zu beschreiben. Die Zimmer und die Anlage waren sehr gepflegt. Der Vermieter super nett, aber gar nicht aufdringlich. Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen!

Nous avons passé un merveilleux séjour bien trop court chez Georgios. Ses studios sont très confortables, situés dans un lieu et environnement apaisant. La décoration est faite avec beaucoup de goût et la petite cuisine est un vrai atout pour se faire des repas sur place. Les lits sont confortables et les nuits sont très calmes. La plage, les restaurants et des petits commerces sont accessibles à pied. Georgios est très accueillant tout en restant discret. La piscine est superbe et agréable en retour de randonnée. Nous avons regretté de ne pas rester plus longtemps chez Georgios. Sophie et Gilles

Meie perele meeldis Yannise juures peatuda. Suhtlus Yannisega oli kiire, ta oli väga sõbralik ja lubas meil teha palju varasema sissekolimise. Korter oli avar, hele ja hubane, voodid olid samuti mugavad. Vannitube oli pere apartmendis kokku kolm, mis tegi olemise samuti mugavaks. Piirkond oli väga mõnus, parkimine oli kohe maja ees, jalutuskäigu kaugusel (ca 6 min), oli täiesti korralik pood, samuti oli jalutuskäigu kaugusel (15-20 min), väga mõnus Kalathas beach (tagasi tulles küll ülesmäge vaja kõndida). Tegemist on sinilipu rannaga, mis on liivase põhjaga, laugelt sügavaks minev, mõnusate (aga mitte suurte) lainetega.....sobib perele ideaalselt. Veel soovitame väga sellel samal poolsaarel asuvat Katholiko matkarada (algab Gouverneto kloostri juurest). Tegemist on imeilusate vaadetega matkarajaga, mille tegi (meie abiga) läbi ka 4 aastane matkasell. Samuti soovitame külastada lähedal asuvat üliselge veega Seitan Limania randa. Yannisega on mõnus suhelda ja bassein on IMELINE :)!!!

Es war ein wunderschöner Aufenthalt für uns, bei dem wir viel Erlebt haben. Von dem Haus sind es 10 min Autofahrt zu einem wunderschönen Strand der allerdings ab 10 Uhr sehr voll ist. Für diejenigen, die es etwas ruhiger mögen kann ich den Zorbias Beach und den Pachias Ammos Beach empfehlen. Die Strände liegen 15 min Autofahrt entfernt und sind nicht so mit Menschen überfüllt. Das Haus liegt in einer Menschen beruhigten Lage mit ein paar Ziegen neben an ,die sich auch gerne mal unterhalten. Über dem Haus ist die Flugschneise für den Chania Flughafen, allerdings sind Flugzeuge nicht die Häufigkeit. Wir können diese wunderschöne Unterkunfte und ihre netten und zuvorkommenden Eigentümer jedem weiterempfehlen, der einen Erholsamen Urlaub auf Kreta verbringen möchte. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Nektaria et Nikos sont des hôtes exceptionnels - accueillants, attentionnés et généreux avec leurs conseils et produits maison (confitures, fruits frais et raki), on l'impression d'être reçu par des membres de la famille. La maison est parfait et rien ne manque et elle se trouve dans un emplacement idéal pour se détendre tout en restant proche des principales attractions de la partie Ouest de la Crete. Je recommande les yeux fermés

We hebben 14 heerlijke dagen doorgebracht in het verblijf van Marilena. Vanaf het eerste moment voelden we ons ontzettend welkom. Marilena is niet alleen ontzettend gastvrij en vriendelijk, maar ook bijzonder lief en leuk tegen kinderen. De accommodatie was brandschoon en goed verzorgd. Het privézwembad was een absoluut hoogtepunt: elke ochtend werd het zorgvuldig schoongemaakt door Marilena zelf. Wat we ook erg waardeerden, was dat ze tussentijds – uiteraard in overleg – het huis kwam schoonmaken. Echt topservice! Je merkt aan alles dat Marilena dit met liefde doet en oog heeft voor haar gasten. Kortom: een fantastische plek om te verblijven met een gastvrouw die echt het verschil maakt. We komen hier zeker graag nog eens terug!
