Monthly Rentals in Chuckanut

We were in town for our boy’s state baseball tournament but we will be back to Bellingham just for this place. This house was incredibly beautiful and the view is second to none! We saw bald eagles right off the back deck and sailboats on the bay. What a spot to rest! The hosts were great and very accommodating. We read the reviews about the train noise so we were aware going in. We actually enjoyed watching them go by from the back deck and the noise was noticeable, but didn’t bother us at all. They have a photo album of the construction process that they did as a family and it’s amazing to see what they went through to build this beautiful home. I’m a carpenter by trade so I could really appreciate the craftsmanship of this home. My wife’s favorite artist is Andrew Wyeth and she was thrilled that they had 2 of his painting in the house. Everything we needed, they had and we look forward to coming back!

We felt right at home from the very beginning! Although the space is attached to the house, it's completely separated. It felt like our own apartment, completely private. Samish Island is one of the most beautiful places I have had the pleasure to visit. Quiet, peaceful, and full of natural wildlife around every turn. Easy access to the beach down the road from Dave's driveway. 10/10 would come right back here to Dave if I need to stay in the Anacortes area again.

Amazing host. Amazing location and beautiful view. My son’s wedding was at the Lairmont Manor, so the location was perfect. My family from FL and GA enjoyed the view. I will be staying here again when we view Bellingham WA.

Aimee and Peter have a gorgeous unique home nestled in the deep woods. Their story of wanting to share with community and the warmth they offered in their space and communication was very welcoming. This is a very special little abode with many intricacies that helped us feel fascinated and very cozy. It was a worthwhile adventure to stay there.
