Snowfall, swirling, On Christmas night, New Year’s dawn. For the first time, I arrive in Canada, In Toronto, Alone. Here, I write, I sleep in quiet calm, Bathe in winter sunlight, Step into the library downstairs, Stumble upon wonders in nearby shops, Chat in French With the antique store owner. My bed, white sheets, Pillows soft and fragrant. A tote bag packed from home, I carry it to the market. Even when it rains, An umbrella waits by the door, Courtesy of Thomas, the host. Thomas, whose kindness lingers everywhere— His humor, His warmth, His attention to every detail. Thirty days, Alone. So long, So short. Long enough to savor each passing minute. Short enough To treasure the stillness, The ease, The freedom That time granted me.

I have no words to describe how amazing it was our 1-month stay at Forough's place. I was there with my husband and we had a great time. The condo has everything you need, kitchen pans, pots etc. The view is stunning!!! (we can never get used to it)! It's perfectly located with street cars just around the corner so you reach each part of the city easily. There are also many shops, cafes and parks in the neighborhood, we loved to just wander around and explore every place. Communication with Forough's was so easy, she is such a kind person. We are definitely coming back soon and we recommend it with no doubts!

I had to stay here for over a month while my mom got cancer treatment at a hospital near by. Pros: - walking distance to hospital - the host was awesome, super responsive, check in was completely independent and we didn’t even have to talk to anyone! - the building is right in the middle of anything and everything you need downtown - my dog was allowed to stay with us - concierge and building staff are very easy to deal with Cons: - one of the beds has an awful, extremely uncomfortable mattress (we had to buy a mattress cover to be able to sleep) - the couch is extremely uncomfortable and can only seat 2 people, there is no where else to sit other than that (they need a cozy chair or something!) - price of this place is shocking, and pet fee was also shocking. But I had no choice because I had to stay as close as possible to the hospital. - we brought a desk for working and crammed it a room because the one provided is a skinny glass table - very small condo
