Family-friendly holiday rentals in Cinquale

I had a wonderful stay at Gina's. When I arrived they very kindly picked me up from the station which I was super grateful for. The house was beautiful with traditional interiors. The town is very peaceful and the views from the garden were beautiful! I would reccomend to anyone wanting to get away from a busy city break, perfect for relaxing! Gina was a great host and answered all my questions very quickly and I felt if I needed anything I could happily reach out to her.

Fantastic property, not new but really well kept and looked after. Spectacular outside space with grape vines over a pergola. Pool was a lot bigger than expected and a nice touch. Fabulous greeting and a welcome basket with local treats and Angiolo’s wine. Great location for touring Tuscany. We would definitely go back!

We were a family with teenagers in the accommodation for a week and couldn't have found a better place. Everything was exactly as described. Due to the room in the attic, which was very well air-conditioned, there was always the possibility of retreating. The place was sparkling clean. There was no slightest fault. We were very warmly welcomed by Daniele and his family and personally said goodbye. There were a whole range of tips for restaurants and excursions. I can really recommend the beautiful house without reservation. We felt very comfortable, thank you very much.

This apartment is located at the Corniglia bus stop - so it’s easy to take the bus up and skip those 377 steps if you want! The apartment has a lovely terrace with beautiful views of the Mediterranean, comfortable furniture, and air conditioner units in every room. The only thing to be aware of is: if you like to shower, that is a bit difficult in the jacuzzi as the ceilings are low (but if you like bathing it’s a cozy tub with a cool sunroof which opens for ventilation)

The stay at Sara's house was really very pleasant. This beautiful, recently restored house overlooks a fragrant, flower-filled garden. The kitchen is equipped with super appliances and quality dishes. The beds are very comfortable and the linen is of high quality. nothing is missing to fully enjoy the holiday. Another thing that makes this village special is the fact that you have to leave your car and walk home on a pleasant walk while your luggage travels on the tractor driven by Bryan. far from the noise of the city, I spent hours immersed in the peace and greenery of the woods in the background. Sara and Bryan are caring and welcoming hosts and know how to anticipate every desire. I highly recommend this place if you want to experience moments of true relaxation.

Awesome place to stay if you are looking for privacy and nature going hand in hand in the beautiful chalet surrounded by peaceful calmness and a relaxing atmosphere. Maria who is a very friendly Host was always helpful and responded very quickly if we had questions and we are thankful for whole service (with the car :) We recommend the chalet a 10/10 and would revisit it anytime again !

We spent 3 fantastic days in Daniele's villa, immersed in the tranquility of the Tuscan countryside. We were 9 friends and the house was perfect for our stay: spacious, clean and equipped with all comforts. The outdoor pool and jacuzzi were the stars of our relaxing days, while the indoor sauna added a special touch to the evenings. The common areas are spacious and well organized, and the outdoor porch is ideal for a barbecue. Daniele was an impeccable host: always available and attentive, he made us feel welcome right away. We recommend this stay without hesitation, perfect for those seeking peace, comfort and a beautiful place to share moments with friends.

It was special treat to be welcomed by Laura when we arrived. She was a great hostess. We felt very comfortable in the spacious surroundings which included an outdoor terrace with expansive views across the Garfagnana valley. As we didn't have a car we walked into Barga which is about 20 minutes. Barga offers shops, restaurants and art galleries. I found lots of opportunities to do some painting around the old town and walks to nearby villages. We loved Barga and are keen to return.

Rosella and Alessandro were perfect hosts. 2 bikes provided was great. Pickup and drop off from train station really helpful. Use of lemons, herbs was wonderful. Rosella made us a home cooked Italian meal delicious! Accommodation exactly as photos show.

Really pleasant stay! The apartment is cozy, well maintained and the garden is a real plus: perfect for relaxing or having breakfast outdoors. The area is quiet and well-connected, and the host was super helpful and attentive to every detail. Notwithstanding the not perfect weather, I was able to enjoy the house and the area, comfortably visiting the entire coastline until viareggio. Pisa is still well connected and I visited it on the day of check-out. Upstairs bathroom made new, better than what you'll see in the listing. Only small note: in the bathroom downstairs there were some mosquitoes, but fortunately they had already been equipped with electronic devices scented by the host that resolved the problem effectively. Overall, a more than positive experience — highly recommended!

What a fantastic place. Paolo met us at the train station to help us with our luggage and guide us to the apartment. Gave us great recommendations on how to spend our 3 days. Honestly I’m not sure I can imagine a better place in Riomaggiore. The flat is on the top floor with a great terrace that is shaded in the evening looking right down on the cove with a beautiful view of the water. We had happy hour up there every night. Everything was clean and modern. Having 2 levels created a lot of space in the apartment. Would stay there again in a heartbeat if coming back to Riomaggiore.

Lovely little place, super location with everything you need for a pleasant visit. Nice roof garden to sit and dream. Clean and well looked after. Many thanks - also a short walk to the tower.

Cristina is the perfect host and the house is beautiful. The surroundings are amazing and the views......wow! All through the booking and our stay there Cristina was swift to answer any questions we had and also was happy to offer suggestions on places to go and where to eat. We had a perfect week there and I wouldn't hesitate to go back or to recommend her place to anyone else. Cristina and her sister met us at the house and showed us round, clearly pointing out all the relevant bits that we would need to know. Thank you so much for making our week in Italy so special and enjoyable......we are already looking to come back!

Damiana was amazing!! The elevator was out of service when we arrive so she sent a taxi to the train station to bring us to the air bnb. Not only did she help us with our bags, but she had a bottle of sparkling wine waiting for us to celebrate our marriage! She was so receptive. The view was AMAZING!!!!! It was like a home away from home. I wish we stayed longer

Beautiful, and peaceful…just the singing of swallows in the morning. Everything you want to wake up to in the morning….a beautiful view, the option of a morning swim, and a baker who delivers. I’d advise getting up with the sunrise and sitting on the terrace with your coffee, the birds and the mountains. Francesca is super flexible and helpful for everything. It’s a few minutes drive from Barga which, although is small, has several excellent restaurants

Our stay at Marina and Paolo’s hilltop home in the Tuscan hills was nothing short of magical. The house is a true piece of paradise, immaculately clean, with breathtaking views that left us in awe every day. Marina and Paolo were incredibly kind hosts, making us feel completely at home. The swimming pool was fantastic, and the entire experience immersed us in the charm of Tuscan life. We highly recommend this gem to anyone looking for an unforgettable getaway!

This was a midway point on a long journey. It was so nice to wake up and have nothing to do but eat and enjoy the day on the water.

Amazing place! Nestled in the beautiful surroundings of the Lucca hills. Very peaceful. Lots of birdsong. We saw a deer in the garden! The grounds are brilliant and the place is the perfect size for a couple. We loved eating on the terrace with the great view, and swimming in the private pool. Only a short drive to Lucca which has some amazing restaurants (our favourite was Osteria de Pasquale). There’s some great vineyards in the area - our favourite was Fattoria Sardi. If I was reading this review I wouldn’t think twice about booking!

Alessandro welcomed us with great patience and kindness. A very friendly host that we will be happy to meet again next year. My daughter thanks him for finding her blanket after we left, yet another proof of his kindness.

Our 2nd time in Lucca and in this complex. We have come back here for a reason. And again, we really enjoyed it. A wonderful apartment with a garden. Beautiful and spacious kitchen. Beautiful swimming pool with the possibility of barbecuing. If we want to be near Lucca again, we will definitely come back here. We would like to specifically thank Giorgio for his hospitality.

We loved staying at Elisa’s place - so lovingly restored and a truly special place. Beautiful setting and we loved hanging out in the garden on the sun loungers in the peaceful surroundings. Being able to say hello to their dogs and having their sweet cats in the garden made it feel like home to us. Easy parking nearby. Thank you so much!
