We absolutely loved our stay at Marie and Mathias’ place. The house is so stylish and well appointed but also very homely and has everything you need (including all cooking utensils etc). We loved having dinner on the rooftop looking across the valley and surrounded by birdsong. The location was perfect for us - we enjoyed walking the first section of the GR20 and cycling on the GT20, both from the door. We stopped off in Calvi for supplies but the Spar in Calenzana (20 min walk away) had everything we needed, so we didn’t use our car for the whole three night stay. Perfect! An FYI - we decided to sleep on the middle floor which does not have air conditioning so as to avoid stairs to the bathroom during the night. This bedroom is not air conditioned but we kept the shutters closed during the day to keep the room cool and there’s a fan which can also be used. This worked well! Completely recommend if you’re looking peace and quiet, and time outside!

if you are looking for peace and quiet, come to Sam's studio without hesitation. Spacious bathroom and very well-equipped kitchen. Brand new bedding, thick mattress, slept very well with my wife. The terrace for lunch and dinner in the shade. A great restaurant in the center of the village. Lots of mountain villages to visit, San Antonino and Algajola by the sea, among others. Thanks to Sam for his advice
