Minutes from the outlet mall, a peaceful and cozy A-Frame, nestled in the trees overlooking a rippling creek. The stairs to the loft lead to a room where there is a comfortable queen-size bed and television. The downstairs area has a fully-stocked kitchen, dining area and living area with lots of windows to enjoy the view. There is also patio with a table and chairs and propane grill where you can sit and enjoy the view of the pasture and water, with beautiful trees scattered about.

The Bear's Den, studio with kitchen and pond/creek

Our wonderful guest house is a cozy studio with a queen bed, kitchen, sofa, and dining table in one large room. There is a bathroom with shower. This is a second floor apartment over the detached garage, we live in the main house next door. The property is very secluded well off the road with no other houses nearby and borders the National Forest. Enjoy the spring fed pond in the front yard, a hike along the Sandy river, or a 15 min drive to ski resorts.

The Woodlands Hideout is a small intentional semi-offgrid retreat space, featured on Dwell. It was designed and built by Further Society and created to allow guests to immerse in the beauty of the natural world, but still offer some cozy and more essential comforts. Although the footprint of the space is small, we designed the experience to be outward focussed, so it feels very expansive with the towering pine trees in view.

We have friendly dogs you may see outside. 30 min. to SE Portland, 45 to PDX, One hour to Mt. Hood, 40 min to waterfalls in the Columbia Gorge. Pool open June 15 through September 5th. Can accommodate a 3pm check-in all days except Tuesdays.

Sandy Ridge Trail is right around the corner, Wildwood Park is across the way, and Mt Hood is a short 15 minute drive. Close to some great Eats and Drinks. We recently added a clawfoot tub with on demand hot water for a lovely soak outdoors!
