The house "Schanzenblick" is beautifully located in a cul-de-sac overlooking the Mühlenberg. From here you can start beautiful hikes. The fenced garden with grill and seating area can be used. The center of Altenau with supermarket, shops and restaurants is a 10-minute walk away. Altenau offers the largest herb park in Germany, a disc golf course, a free forest swimming pool and the crystal thermal bath "Heißer Brocken" to pass the time. "Berg-Budse" Charming Harzhaus in Wildemann

In Wildemann, the "Little Tyrol" of the Harz, this charming Harz house from 1899 is located directly on idyllic hiking trails. Located on the slope and near the forest, it was extensively renovated after we bought it in 2021/2022. The "19-Lachter-Stollen" attraction is a few steps away, and there are many shops and restaurants in neighboring Clausthal-Zellerfeld. From the point of view of sustainability, our "Berg-Budse" is lovingly furnished with a mix of old and new things.

The cottage is in a quiet location adjacent to the beautiful Oberharzer mountain meadows on the outskirts of Clausthal-Zellerfeld and offers the perfect mix of relaxation and adventure. Welcome to the Krafthaus, a historic forester's house from 1902 on the edge of the forest in the Upper Harz region. The sculptor Reinhold Kraft lived and worked here for many years. Sculptures and works of art in the apartment still remind us of his work today and give the house its special character. The large garden and the quiet location by the forest invite you to spend relaxing days with friends or family.

We offer a non-smoking room for 1-3 people (30 m²) in the basement with private bathroom (shower/toilet) and entrance. The room with 2.40 m ceiling height has a single bed for 1 person and a sofa bed for 2 people. We are dog-friendly by arrangement. Our house is located on a quiet side street at the exit of the village. Hiking trails and shopping are within 5 minutes. The bicycle storage is lockable.

Our home port in Altenau is about 45 m2. It includes two bedrooms and a cozy living room with open kitchen niche, which is well-equipped.
