Lovely spot to stay with the family. We had such a nice weekend. Meaford is great place and close to both Owen sound and Collingwood to explore further. The house was comfortable and a great place for our family and dog to relax. It had everything we needed

Wonderful stay! Our host Dylan was very quick to respond and extremely accommodating. The home fit our large group comfortably. The home was spotless, beds were very comfortable and we appreciated all the little extras (lots of towels, warm blankets, coffees, teas, little treats) Hot tub was very relaxing and clean. Lots to do, we all enjoyed ourselves and we’re already planning our return stay!! 😊

Chelsea’s place was absolutely beautiful ! Upon walking in the house, the view of the water is breathtaking and did not get old each morning while sipping our coffees. The home itself was very homey, and a great wide open space for gathering with friends. Chelsea was super helpful when booking, made recommendations and was super responsive during our stay with any questions we had. I would highly recommend a stay here - can’t get much closer to being “on the lake”!

Seema's place is absolutely beautiful. The four bedrooms are very comfortable; the backyard is vast, with two totally separate seating areas and a cuddly family of rabbits; the kitchen is extremely well appointed; the living room feels homey and relaxing. We would absolutely recommend the place to others and would like to return again ourselves!

Tristan’s stay was amazing! From booking to checking out the entire process was seamless, not to mention the amenities in the AIRBNB were amazing - remember to bring your own toiletries but other than that - FANTASTIC stay chef’s kiss! Beautiful home and location, great for families with young kids who want to get away from city life. There was kid toys, a skip hop and a pack n play with was useful for our baby. The neighborhood was quiet and there was a playground near by. Nicole was quick and easy to reach and made the check in process very easy and provided lots of information about the home. Thank you!

We absolutely LOVED Dawn’s home. It was even more beautiful than the pictures. We were extremely impressed with how well stocked absolutely everything was in the home….she thought of every detail and went way above and beyond. The welcome basket was stocked with delicious treats, there was extra…everything. Her home was cozy, warm and welcoming. Dawn is an extremely generous host. I highly recommend staying at Dawn’s home and we look forward to returning soon.

We had a really nice time at Marias place. It's calm, cozy and has a great location. We liked the restaurant nearby and the walks at the seaside. Marias recommandations for activties we're also very helpful, espacially guests with dogs are very welcome! The communication with Maria was very good and fast because she told us everthing in advance.

Hands down the best Airbnb we’ve ever stayed in After almost three years of Airbnbs around the world, this one in Canada tops them all. We stayed in both the Lookout (the little house) and the Pine Lodge (above the store)—and didn’t want to leave. The Lookout felt like a cozy sanctuary: garden, sauna, spotless, fully equipped. The Pine Lodge had a steam room (huge bonus!), comfy couches, a big dining table, and a fire always going. But what made it truly special were Krystal and Madison—the kindest, most caring hosts we’ve ever had. It felt like arriving at friends’, not strangers’. During a freak ice storm, they moved us to a backup-powered house and even brought us food. Just wow. Local tips: • Cawaja Store: best coffee, insane ice cream, and local broths, pies, soups. • Mums Restaurant: old-school diner, fresh, cooked-to-order food. • The Friendly Corner: lovely for sunny outdoor meals.

Carley's home was beautiful and very clean. Fully stocked kitchen with everything and anything you might need. the hot tub was very clean and private. beautiful home.

We had great overnight stay. Small space but equipped with everything you need. Close to downtown and very easy to find.

We had the pleasure of staying at Jennifer’s place for a few nights, and we absolutely loved it. The location is perfect, right next to the beach, offering stunning views. We’ll definitely be returning in the future!

The place is clean and cozy! Very easy to find and access. There is a beach behind it with about two minute’s walking. I definitely recommend this place.

Great place and great host, very pro active

We were 4 adults, 1 child and 1 toddler. Sarah's cottage is perfectly located - it faces the lake, which is huge, boats, life jackets, etc. are provided and the host is extremely clear in their communication. There was an unexpected issue which came up and which couldn't be rectified till after our booking ended, but I was made aware of it in advance of my trip and Sarah was very transparent in her communication, which I appreciate a lot. The cottage was just a 10 min drive from the main highway, and 15 min drive from the nearest convenience store, so it wasn't that bad. The lake was pristine with some fish in it too, and on days when it was not windy, the water was quite clear too. To top it all, the bright orange ball during sunset won our hearts. We had a great relaxing time and would recommend this to anyone looking for a perfect getaway, just about 2 hours away from GTA.

I was so happy to find Carol’s lovely, cozy, homey cottage. It has a warm, welcoming feeling the moment you step through the door. I think it’s all the beautiful hand hewn wood and stone features that give the cottage its immediate warmth. It has everything you need for a great stay. And I love being able to throw open all the windows and feel the fresh air. One of my favourite birds is the chickadee, and it’s delightful to sit and watch them come to the window feeder. Your idea of adding a hummingbird feeder is lovely. I really appreciated that Carol made sure to explain that this is not a high end, fancy place … but a quiet, serene, comfortable haven. I will definitely contemplate another visit to this welcoming little cottage that is so easy to call home for a quiet retreat. Without meeting Carol personally, I have the sense that she is a lovely, warm, caring person, who is attentive and committed to providing a welcoming and comfortable space for a quiet get away. I stayed here for two nights and had a lovely experience. The atmosphere was peaceful, the location was convenient. Everything was clean and well-maintained, making it a comfortable and relaxing short getaway. Definitely worth considering for a quick escape!

We stay for 2 nights it was a perfect getaway for us. Lots to do inside and outside our little ones really enjoyed. The host was super nice and responsive. The house was very clean and the detail of the house was very homey. We really enjoyed our stay. Most recommended to book this it was very worth it.

My friends and I had a truly fabulous cottage experience here! The washrooms were clean and tidy, which made our stay extra comfortable. We also appreciated the entertainment options available. Even though the weather was a bit cool and the dock slightly tricky to manage, we had an amazing time using the kayaks for the first time! The host provided life jackets, which made our water adventures both safe and memorable. Another highlight was the sauna — such a relaxing and refreshing treat after a day of outdoor activities. It was our first time trying a sauna, and it was easy to use. We loved it! One more thing worth mentioning — one of my friends accidentally left her phone behind. The host and cleaning team acted quickly and efficiently, and the phone was returned the next day! Overall, we would absolutely choose this cottage again. The great location, cleanliness, well-prepared facilities, and the kind and thoughtful host made this a wonderful getaway. Highly recommended!

We had a wonderful winter getaway at Woodward by the Beach! The home was beautiful and far exceeded our expectations. It was clean, nicely decorated, and well stocked with the essentials. We especially loved the fire! The host, Kevin, was extremely responsive and even took the time to provide us with recommendations for snow tubing, tobogganing, restaurants, and cafes. The home is in a great location and there are no shortage of activities, restaurants, and shops within short driving distance. We can’t wait to come back in the summer! Thank you Kevin!

My friends and I stayed here for a winter weekend away and it was just what we needed/wanted in a little cottage. Great location for those coming from the GTA and nice and close for those in Simcoe. Once we got there we felt right at home! The hosts had cleared the walking paths and back deck of any recent snow fall which made it nice and easy to get inside and enjoy the grounds. They went above and beyond by having the wood burning stove going for us when we checked in which made CARL that much more cozy and welcoming. Communication and instructions were very clear and detailed from start to finish which made the whole rental process easy and enjoyable. My friends and I look forward to coming back to CARL in the future!
