Monthly Rentals in Cockpit Island

Kristy was an amazing host! I felt so welcomed and taken care of. She shared information about the local restaurants and how to get to campus. Overall, they were very helpful and friendly. The house backed onto a lovely park and green space with trails. The space was perfect for my trip. I would highly recommend booking with Kristy.

I stayed for 4 nights at Glenn's place for a conference at McMaster in early June. The neighbourhood is beautiful, and it's an easy walk to the school. There is a little bar fridge if you want to bring yogurt etc. for a light breakfast, but there are also cute cafes just jup the street. Previous to arrival I had asked if there was a kettle for tea, and Glenn said there was a Keurig with hot water available. But when I got there, a little kettle had been added, plus some tea bags. Much appreciated! The bar fridge includes an array of sparkling water and pop, as well as cream and milk for morning bevvies. There are also glasses and mugs. Glenn told me the bed would be like sleeping on a cloud, and indeed it was!! The towels are deliciously thick and fluffy. The room is spacious, bright and clean, and very quiet. Glenn is responsive, friendly and easy to communicate with. I would highly recommend Glenn's place, and would stay here again in a heartbeat. Thanks Glenn!

Beautiful home and great host

My partner and I stayed here for two months during our home renovations. We had a wonderful stay and felt at home. This was important since we didn’t have a home during this stay! It was incredibly clean and quiet. The apartment was equipped with everything we needed which was amazing. My favourite part was the allowance of animals. We appreciate this aspect as our cat is our family and we would be on the streets with her before living somewhere without her! Martha and Barb are lovely humans who were always there whenever we needed anything! Harry (the dog) was so loving and friendly and Aura (the cat) provided us with humour with her sassy food obsessed ways. Parking was slightly difficult but only because of the intense snow we had while there and us having two cars to park on the street. But I wouldn’t anticipate this being an issue for regular snowy conditions. We just happened to get heavy HEAVY snow! Book it!! You won’t have any regrets :)
