Riscaldamento a legna, l’energia elettrica è fornita da un impianto fotovoltaico. Nella zona non vi è connessione telefonica, ma è presente una connessione wi-fi in baita, inoltre vicino vi sono due ristori dove si possono degustare i cibi locali. La baita è raggiungibile a piedi o con le jeep autorizzate al transito.

L'ottima posizione, facile da raggiungere, essendo vicino alla fermata degli autobus (tram da Trento a Dermulo per 45 min poi bus per altri 15 min), è l'ideale come base di partenza per le piste da sci: Mendola o Predaia a 15/20 min; Val di Sole o Paganella a 45/60 min; sentiero che porta a S.Romedio; vari laghi della zona E' a 40 Km da Trento, Bolzano, Merano
