Sunrise Cottage, Coniston, Sleeps 4

CharlesRating, 5 stars4 days ago
A stunning cottage that overlooks Coniston Water. The terrace below the road is the ideal venue for breakfast or an evening drink. The parking situation is fine, but slightly tight for larger vehicles. The centre of Coniston is only minutes away on foot.

A fab stay at Chapel Cottage. Perfect base to explore the Lake District with everything we needed for a lovely stay. Lots of great recommendations for places to walk and swim which we loved. Thankyou Mary!

Coachman's House Coniston

DavidRating, 5 stars2 months ago
We had a lovely relaxing stay in Angela's high-end cottage.. Excellent location for walking. Peaceful, light sitting room (on 1st floor) with lovely views of the hills. Great beds. Warm house. Good showers. Easy walk down into town, and up into the Coppermine's Valley (gateway to the Coniston fells).

Emma's Tiny House hot tub views

TomRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Lovely few nights at Emma’s Tiny Home! Listening to the close-by farm animals and the birds in the trees was beautiful first thing in the morning and just before nightfall. We were so lucky to be awoken by some fighter jets and they came over a few times during our stay which was brilliant to watch and listen to! Beautiful scenery surrounded the tiny home, a place I’d highly recommend to anyone! Perfect!

Amazing house with lots of history, a great place to get away, enjoy some hiking and get cosy by the fire. No signal or wifi so come prepared. Would love to stay again the next time we're in the Lakes!

Hawkhow Cottage, Glenridding

BridgetRating, 5 stars1 week ago
A beautiful house in a lovely setting, great for family get togethers, location right on the lake was amazing, & easy access to lovely local town of Glenridding for essentials. Wide range of facilities at the cottage, we really enjoyed the private outdoor eating area next with the wood fired outdoor grill. Very nice well appointed kitchen with quality appliances, bathrooms clean and with quality fittings. Outside garden/woodland area was perfect for us and our dog, although the many steps and steep paths would not suit everyone, but this factor is clearly explained in the information host provides. We found some rooms a little dark, especially on a rainy day but there are some lovely lamps which can be moved around if required. Overall I would recommend this cottage as a great place to stay & enjoy the lake district and all it has to offer.

Grizedale View - Lake District Apartment Coniston

KerryRating, 5 stars4 days ago
Absolutely fabulous apartment. Frances has thought of everything and its all spotlessly clean and very lovely. Location is great, right in the centre. Parking is on the street but safe and no issues. Take a USB port along, I nearly forgot and there isnt one that I saw. Lots of great advice on asking for walks, bike rides and pubs! oh and re the comment about the church bells, yes they are every hour, its not loud at all and quite charming. we took earplugs just in case but didnt need them. Overall a fantastic stay and lovely place with great hosts.
