It offers complete tranquillity & lies within easy reach of the main attractions of the area (beaches, hiking, surfing, kayaking, horse riding, chasing waterfalls & sunsets). The cosy cottage is perfect for peaceful strolls across Donegal’s breathtaking beach’s& it’s the ultimate backdrop for a low-key romantic break, however, you’ll have to make friends with the cows while you’re there!

Cloncoul Guesthouse

Our cosy family guesthouse is located 2km outside Ennistymon nestled amongst farms in the peaceful Irish countryside. The ideal destination to relax and unwind with family and friends. The perfect spot to explore Ennistymon, Lahinch, Lisdoonvarna, Doolin, The Cliffs of Moher, the Burren and beyond. Soak up the atmosphere in the local Pubs and enjoy some of the best traditional music found anywhere in Ireland. Only a five minute drive to the supermarket and a great base for outdoor activities.

Cosy Cottage

Kick back and relax in this calm, cosy space in the rolling countryside and just a 40 minute drive from Knock Airport. For something more lively there’s Westport and Castlebar, with their shops, bars and the beautiful coastline and beaches of the Wild Atlantic Way. The 2 friendly cats, Muffin and Bruce, prefer to live outside but like to say hello. When not away working, I stay in a chalet on a separate piece of land close by but not overlooking the cottage. I do respect guest privacy.

The house which is situated in a quiet neighbourhood is just over 7km from the vibrant bustling town of Carrick on Shannon and 5km from Drumshanbo, home of the world famous Joe Mooney Summer School and An Tostal Festival.

Possibly one of the most beautiful views and locations overlooking Dogs bay beach and sitting at the foot of Errisbeg hill, 6 minute drive from the picturesque fishing village of Roundstone. Surrounded by some of the most beautiful scenery on the west coast of Ireland. Looking out across the Atlantic Ocean at the Aran islands, gurteen beach and dogs bay beach. Hill climbing to the rear and beach walks to the front of the cottage, there are possibly few locations to compare with this cottage

This is a self contained apartment, tastefully decorated, on the ground floor, with your own private entrance. There is a double bed, kitchen, dining and living room, and bathroom. With your own private patio with panoramic views. The apartment is newly renovated to the highest standard, with gas heating and a solid fuel stove. It was just finished in March 2022, and we are very happy with how it turned out. We have put together a guest food hamper which we hope you will enjoy.

The house is on the Wild Atlantic way and a short drive from the Cliffs of Moher, the Burren, the links golf courses in Lahinch (5km) and Doonbeg (25km). Home to Jon Rahm, winner of the Dubai Duty Free Irish Open in 2019. The house has been featured in BBC/RTÉ production #smother.
