We stayed with Claude for 16 days in June. We immediately felt at home. Landlords were very reserved but immediately on the spot when help was needed. - TOP - It was very clean, also our wish to be able to use both bedrooms was no problem. Claude and his wife are very helpful and pleasant. The accommodation was very, very quiet and in 30 minutes on foot the old town and in 15 minutes on foot the baker could be reached. The car could be parked immediately in front of the entrance - very pleasant when loading and unloading. The area within a 100 km radius offers sooooooo much that you can hardly explore everything in time. The small pool is ideal for cooling off after excursions in the heat.

We loved the apartment. It was impeccable and very new. We have been very relaxed and close to everything. The private terrace is wonderful. Gildas has been very kind and communication has been very simple.

A very friendly welcome with a very appreciated welcome gift. The house is as described. Very nicely decorated, extremely clean, very comfortable (top bedding). The environment is also very pleasant (very nice view) and very quiet. Many shops within 10 minutes' drive.

We had a fantastic trip, Marie-Cecile & Leonce are the most welcoming and helpful hosts. The apartment is well perfectly situated between the castle and the centre of town with a beautiful garden and close to the river. Couldn't recommend this more.

house as described, great if you are with little ones because there are children's toys available, my son was delighted! clean pool despite the sun running away we were still able to enjoy it a little it was at 29!!! I highly recommend the house thank you very much ⭐

Sandrine is a very helpful host, quick to reply to any queries. The property is well located and made us feel very comfortable. Being June the pool was heated and in a very clean condition and the air conditioning was much needed and worked well. Very pleasant and relaxing stay. If we had mobility issues the stairs may have been a problem but that shouldn’t put you off this amazing property and host.

Nathalie’s home was magical. The minute we arrived we fell in love with it. It’s a real home from home with all Nathalie’s fascinating trinkets from her travels and her two adorable cats, so easy to care for. The older one lets you know when he wants feeding and is an adorable old boy and the tabby is so cuddly and affectionate. We miss them! The views from the property was breathtaking especially the Mountain View with the sound of the lake. I enjoyed reading and doing yoga in the garden too. We cooked several times in Nathalie’s kitchen which has brilliant knives and saucepans. We felt we were in a little paradise really. Recommend le rencontre to eat and also Chapters and we enjoyed going to the Boulanger every morning for a coffee and croissant. The deli produce at l’abeille noire shop was really brilliant too esp the rhubarb jam and the fig biscuits and Elen from the shop bought us bread from another village when the shops weren’t open. Nathalie is so friendly, unmissable.

Very nice accommodation, quite isolated (positive for us). Beautiful walks and hikes to do nearby, without a car, and for the most motivated, the Gouffre de Cabrespine accessible on foot (2 small km, but quite steep!). And of course, a very welcoming host who cares about his guests! In short, a wonderful stay!

We had a great stay. Easy instructions to get in and very helpful to have access to the secure parking garage nearby (3 min walk). Really clean in the apartment as well and quiet since it's off the street.

Magali and Jean Baptist’s annex was beautifully designed. It was the perfect complement to their elegant main home. The little patio had mature vines growing over Roman style columns, providing a delicious secluded shaded area, perfect for evening drinks or a light meal. We had permission to use the little pool which is delightful in the mature garden. The views of the Castle peeked through everywhere. Both the town and the castle were within an easy walk. Very peaceful area and lovely hosts. We wanted to give it 6 stars!

We spent two days in this place. Our hosts were very welcoming. We particularly appreciated its proximity to Carcassonne and the Canal du Midi. The pool and garden are very nice.

Perfect stay!!! The accommodation offered by Christine is an old house, very well renovated, spacious and peaceful where you immediately feel at home. Everything is done to make you feel comfortable: welcome gifts, everyday products available, toys for children, board games, books, etc. The decor is cheerful, colorful, full of fantasy and the furniture is very comfortable. The garden offers a real cocoon, in the shade and out of sight, with a guinguette atmosphere. Each member of our family was able to find a little corner of their own, different according to the time of day, and to regroup easily as the spaces are varied and welcoming. The location is ideal: in a secluded environment, close to the Canal du Midi for walks, while being 3 minutes from the first shops and 10 minutes from the city of Carcassonne. Christine is very attentive to her guests, caring and passionate. To be honest: we're going back in a few weeks!!!

The property was everything we’d hoped for, peaceful, private and in a beautiful setting. It was equipped with everything we could need, with very comfortable furniture and high quality linens. The kitchen was very well equipped indeed, I loved the air fryer! Colin met us on arrival, unlocking the door and showing us how to operate the shutters before making himself scarce. Although the hosts live next door they’d obviously gone to some effort to make sure the property felt private, we hardly knew they were there. The area is just beautiful with some very scenic villages within a short drive. We’d recommend visiting Montolieu as well as Carcassonne itself. The Lac de la Cavayere is well worth a visit in nice weather and I suspect even more so in summer when all of its activities are in operation. Colin very kindly negotiated with the cleaners to allow us an extra hour before we had to check out - with 7 hours between checkout and our flight this was very much appreciated!

We spent a very good week at Laurence's. A home with all the necessary amenities, in a pretty corner of tranquility, well located between Carcassonne and the Montagne Noire for very beautiful discoveries.

Clean accommodation very well located in the heart of the village and quiet only about ten minutes from Carcassonne. Great location for visiting the area over a few days.

We were a party of three who recently had a most enjoyable holiday in Karlolina's house. The house has been beautifully renovated and has a lovely garden. The village is charming- it was very quiet in early May but I'm sure it is much busier in the height of summer. We enjoyed exploring the surrounding area, including Carcassonne (very busy) and a handful of the many Cathar castles in the region. Our tour and tasting at the local vinegar producer was very interesting.

Wow, what a lovely location within easy walking distance of the castle. Very peaceful and a lovely garden to sit and watch the swifts above the castle. Air con would also be very useful for those hot days. Good quality amenities. Who could ask for more?

Amazing house in a beautiful location. The house was spotless and well equipped. Much bigger than we expected. The private outdoor area was great. Brilliant views and flowers all around. Gets the sun all day and smells glorious. Jan was a great host and gave us loads of useful information on the local area. Appreciated his tips for a a quiet beach, lake trip and beautiful spot on the canal du midi. Enjoyed the walk into Minerve from the doorstep. We had a great 5 nights here and would love to return.
