A wonderful family weekend in this fabulous place! There's nothing missing! The cottage is superb, the environment is perfect. We were lucky enough to have great sunshine, which allowed us to fully enjoy the pool and garden. Close to places of interest. We had a great time at Christophe's place. Everything was perfect: the welcome, the cleanliness, the location to visit the castles of the Loire and the amenities (especially those for our baby as if we were at home and the hot tub that allowed us to rest well)! We recommend it without hesitation!

Small house, clean, practical, nothing missing. The owners are easily reachable and help as much as they can in the event of any problems. The hot tub was extra. The pool area is pleasant and well appointed. Very well located, it allows you to make magnificent visits nearby: Chambord, the Château de Villesavin, Cheverny, the activities of Le Loisirs Loire Valley, rent bicycles,… With our 3-year-old child, it was a great destination.

We offered 3 unforgettable days to our children and grandchildren!!!! Obviously with the sun, the hot pool was squatted from morning to night!!! The welcome and arrangements with Elodie, allowed me to enjoy my whole family!

impeccable welcome and cottage

Just returned from a short stay at a truly unique and historic manor house tucked in the French countryside. The views were absolutely stunning, and the peaceful surroundings made it feel like stepping back in time. The host has beautifully preserved the original interiors—complete with antique furnishings and fabric-covered walls—giving the home so much character and charm. The kitchen, however, is thoughtfully updated and well-stocked with everything needed to cook wonderful meals while soaking in the beauty of the setting. We wish we had more time to simply relax and take it all in!

Beautiful country accommodation near Vendôme, Amboise and Blois. The highlight of the accommodation is the large spaces, perfect for accommodating a large family. The kitchen is one of the largest and best equipped I've had on Airbnb. The outdoor space is very beautiful, with barbecue, pond and outdoor furniture. The bedding could be improved (a little soft for our taste). The stairs to access the 2nd floor also because the steps are very narrow and therefore not suitable for young children.

Bernadette is very welcoming. Despite the heatwave, the room was relatively cool. We spent two nights and slept very well. The longère is set in a very quiet hamlet.

We stayed here for a week with a group of 12 and found the home to be perfectly sized. Plenty of room for everyone to spread out if wanted and still enough spaces for us all to come together. The grounds and area in general are stunning and very peaceful. You absolutely need a car to get around to anything. The nearest towns are small and charming and Tours is only about 40min away. It's important to note the second floor has 2 showers, so the bedrooms with the single beds (pink and green) must share with the turquoise room, or walk through the blue room to use theirs. The water is hot but the top floor has low pressure if anyone else is showering. The house and furnishings show their age but it's very comfortable and charming. All of Pierre's recommendations were lovely - we did the carriage ride and hired a private chef (Morgan) both with great success. I would definitely recommend the stay again it was such a relaxing week and a great hub to all the Loire chateaux.

The little extra: the beautiful fireplace, perfect for warm evenings after a day of hiking. The house is superb, perfectly equipped and full of charm. This place was Spacious; very Spacious for just my husband and I. Loved It!! Walking distance for a lot of stores and restaurants. If You really want to treat yourself go to Le Reserve-it was amazing!! Get the Apple for dessert. Eating at and living near the Clock Tower and an easy walk to the Chateau d’ Amboise was perfect. Take a cold bottle of water if you’re walking to Leonardo Di Vinci’s home. It’s worth the walk, but it is a workout, especially with no Cold Water. The chime on the Clock Tower at the 1/2 hr made me smile. Reminded me I was in France every-time! I think it stopped at 6 pm daily. I would not only return I would live here!! Merci

Clean and well appointed accommodation. For a weekend with close family near the castle of Chenonceau and the zoo of Beauval, and a small lake with games just a stone's throw from the accommodation loved by our children.

Genevieve welcomes with the heart and her home is in her image! The garden is also very pleasant, you can have your meals there with peace of mind. There is space to park the car. Nearby shops (grocery store, bakeries, butcher, post office, cafe) and 2 restaurants, are within walking distance by a pretty path bordering the Cisse at the bottom of the grounds. Château de Chaumont-sur-Loire is less than 15 minutes away and Grand Chambord's natural swimming is less than 30 minutes away!

André is a very welcoming and friendly host. The space is especially clean.

We are very satisfied with our stay at the gite in Florence. The highlight is the indoor pool area, which allows children to let off steam after excursions, regardless of the weather. The house as a whole met our needs, we recommend

The cottage is very comfortable and enjoys a very pleasant and peaceful setting. We had a bachelor party and were able to fully enjoy the available space, whether inside to play board games or outside with the barbecue and brazero. We had a lovely stay at Frédéric's. The space was spacious and very clean. The beds had been prepared in advance. Check in time was flexible. Frédéric was also accommodating and communicative. We recommend their place.

Patrick is a gracious host who greets you up on arrival in order to show you the amenities and how everything works. The property itself is lovely and the living spaces are all very clean, roomy and well decorated. Kitchen is well supplied with everything needed for cooking. The swimming pool, which we used in mid-May was special treat, warm and has a lovely view of chapel and town in the distance. There is but one thing which does not come across in the description of this space, which is that only one bedroom adjoins the living/dining/kitchen space. The 2nd bedroom is accessed via the 1st bedroom... or through the outside walkway, which in our case worked just fine with the lovely weather we had. May not be an issue if you are with your children, but with my in-laws this would have been very inconvenient if the weather was bad. So, other than that I can highly recommend Patricks place for a wonderfully cozy stay in beautiful French countryside close to numerous chateau.
