This house is in Hovland on the North Shore (relatively close to the Canadian border), and the view from the house of Lake Superior is breathtaking. You can just sit there and enjoy it. The home is well-equipped, with a lovely wood-burning fireplace (it made an especially lovely aroma in the house). We also liked the charming river bordering the property, it's literally a small river going through which gives more feelings of wilderness. Easy access to Grand Marais, Lutsen, and Grand Portage, and also to abundant hiking trails, which we really enjoyed.

Had a great stay at this beautiful home. The scenery around it is absolutely stunning — really perfect for relaxing and unwinding. The house itself was lovely and comfortable. There was just a small issue with the hot water and pellet fireplace, but the host got it sorted quickly, which was much appreciated. All in all, a really nice spot, and I’d definitely stay again.

It was a nice stay in this place with friends and families. The place is quiet, peaceful with a beautiful lake view. We stayed for one night; cooking for dinner was convenient, all the beds were clean and comfy.

Great getaway, the drive up was quite scenic. Nice shared space to cook a meal with plenty of utensils

This is a perfect cabin. My son and I were visiting so we needed separate beds and this was perfect. The kitchen and living room area were just enough. The beds slept well (fans were a huge plus for me-I can’t sleep without sound). The view of Lake Superior was amazing. I sincerely wish we could have stayed longer . Bring your pup because this place is set up for your fur baby ❤️

Worth the drive! Beautiful scenery, comfortable accomodations and stocked kitchen area. Host, Jessica, and sidekick, Joey, were incredibly helpful and friendly. Lots of activities on land and water!

This was a great place for our family, right on the lake. We were close to lots of parks and hiking trails. Quick drive to restaurants and shops. There was plenty of space and the indoor pool was a great spot for our kids.

We stayed here with our four kiddos for a brief spring break getaway. While the snow wasn’t there this year we had plenty of spaces and places to spread out and explore. We would definitely consider coming back again!

On both nights of the stay, host reached out to let us know if we stepped outside we may be able to see the northern lights. Before the stay, had several lists of recommendations and things to do in the area. Quick response time and very friendly. The condo is in a beautiful, serene location that is perfect to escape to.

We had an incredible stay with Jill!! The space had everything we could need and was perfect! We ended up using the fireplace on a cold night and it made for such a romantic and cozy ambiance. I loved that the bed was high enough to be able to see the waters of superior while lying down and it was dark enough to see the stars through the window at night. Jill responded right away to our questions and was very accommodating and polite. 10/10 we would absolutely stay here again ! Thank you very much!!

This was the perfect place to land at the end of a day of adventures. Comfortable beds and a quiet place to rest and enjoy the area.

I've stayed at Croftville Road Cottages twice now and it has been great! The location and amenities are perfect for a North Shore getaway - close to Grand Marais and tons of hiking and nature. The hosts were quick and easy to communicate with. I'll definitely be back!

What a beautiful place to stay, very peaceful and right on the water. The unit itself was really great for two people, very clean and the kitchen had everything we needed. We loved the outdoor seating areas as well, very relaxing! Mike and Teresa were very friendly and have created a beautiful home.

This was the most beautiful, organized,clean Airbnb i have ever stayed in. The view from the cabin is breath taking. Very very gorgeous place.

We have stayed here multiple times and have always had a great stay. Cabins are well equipped, cozy, and have great views of Lake Superior. We look forward to visiting again in the future!

What a neat little cabin! We enjoyed our brief visit to the area and would definitely love to come back and stay at Eve’s Place! Our cabin was so cute and cozy! The location was serene and scenic, right on the water. We enjoyed a nice camp fire in the evening too! Got a little spooked when a neighbor said he spotted a bear in the area, but it added some excitement to our evening lol!

We were very pleased with our cabin and the in suite fire place was amazing. We hope to return!
