Monthly Rentals in Cookham

We enjoyed a wonderful stay at the Swedish Cottage. The place is very cosy, and is within a beautiful garden. It’s located close to local restaurants and has some fantastic walks (with the dog). Communication with Anita was also great too.

Lovely place and lovely hosts. We were traveling with an e-wheelchair and after clarification of the size and measures everything worked out very well. The entrance seemed challenging, but at our arrival we realized that the hosts provided a perfectly fitting self made wooden ramp, which allowed for a smooth and convenient entrance to the apartment. At our arrival a welcoming package was waiting for us. The apartment is very nice in a calm neighborhood. For walking, hiking and enjoying the nature it is perfect. The connection towards London takes a bit, but is very well accessible and connected. Would book again!

This is a very cute house in the quaint town of Cookham. Lots of lovely pubs nearby and a beautiful stretch of the Thames. Overall a lovely place with a nice garden and all the facilities you need. The only negatives were some staining on the bedding (blue paint somehow?) and an extra charge to use the number of beds advertised. They mention at the bottom of their description an additional cost for more than 8 people but it is the very last sentence of a long description. £200 to make two additional beds up seemed ridiculously over priced and was more per bed than the rest of the house. This should have been more clear, but otherwise happy with the space.

What a lovely stay we had! Right from the start Stephen and Carey were responsive, accommodating, and welcoming. The space was clean and had clear instructions. Both the check in and check out process was easy. We came to the area to dine at The Fat Duck, and this location was convenient and offered us the chance to explore the charming Cookham area. 10/10 highly recommend!
