Such a lovely home and a wonderful location which was 3 minute walk to the city centre. The train station on the doorstep. So convenient. The TV was set up with Netflix and all the other main stream apps ready to watch on really good sized smart TVs and the internet for brilliant The parking permits where waiting for us arrival Thanks Aaron for your hospitality.

I had a lovely stay at this property with my 11year- old and my dog. It was clean, spacious, well-equipped and comfortable. My daughter loved the pool table and we had everything we needed. Thank you, Fiona x

We had a fantastic stay at this Airbnb last weekend! The house is peaceful, spotlessly clean, and has everything you need. Check-in was a breeze with clear instructions, and the beds were super comfy! It’s the perfect place to relax, and we loved the little thoughtful touches that made it feel like home. We had a wonderful stay in Ulverston. Lesley was a fantastic host, friendly, flexible and helpful. The house was clean, plenty of amenities to suit a family and in great location to visit the sites around the lakes within 10-30 minutes. Plenty of fabulous restaurants we were spoilt for choice. Only note of consideration is for young families that the top floor bedroom can be a little noisy at times and the old stairs a little tricky with babies/ young kids. Overall definitely would recommend- thank you!

Exactly what we expected. Beautiful house inside and out

This is a lovely cottage in a very pretty village. It was very comfortable, clean and exactly as described. We appreciated having a key safe for access as we were late arriving. The car park behind was very convenient and we didn't bother bringing the car round to the front when we left. Tip, to access the car park turn right immediately past the pub, it feels like you are going into the pub's own car park but you are not. Thank you, Neil and Joanne

The accommodation was very clean and tidy. Very spacious with all usual entertainment required. Bedding was fresh and clean. I would happily stay here again.

Great place to stay, with plenty of room for all of us. Really well equipped kitchen and the bathrooms were very modern and clean.

Paul and Sally Anne's accommodation was very clean and lovely. They are also very responsive and clear with instructions etc. I 100% highly recommend to everyone.

we had a great stay, I would say it was pricey for what we paid but we was 5 people short of filling it so I guess that had an impact. Amanda was fast at responding which always helps. Thankyou

Wonderful place, lots of space for 5 of us. Great location. Lots of good places to eat - the Butter End pub is great. So is Shills of Cockermouth. As well as all the independent coffee shops. My only wish is it had recycling bins.

Only stayed one night but house has everything required to stay for much longer. Large property, nice bedrooms, comfy beds, nice large kitchen with large dining table and comfortable living room. Would definitely stay again if golfing in Carlisle area in future.

Great accommodation in a great location. It was fun to walk through the castle grounds to get into town and everything about the accommodation met or exceeded our expectations. The only downside was that there was no parking available, but it's a short and lovely walk to most lots so that didn't hinder us too much!

Great place. Good location and very quiet even though its right next to the main road. Right next to the bus stop and shop. Good space inside. Was very cold at first, but the Jeannette sorted it out 😊 Recommended!

The Church Mouse Cottage was great location for couple of days away, equipped with all we needed. It is in the middle of Clitheroe with so much on the doorstep. We had unusually good weather so took benefit of having a morning coffee on the table outside. The shower was powerful and the bed comfy. The decor is homely and creative - there is a lovely ‘White Lotus’ mural in the living room and a map mural on the stairs wall, with places that we checked off for our visit. Christine was friendly and helpful, and all went smoothly.

The house was excellent in every respect - clean, modern and well-equipped. It was located in a quiet street but within a very short distance of the town. Of particular note is that it provided off-street parking a few metres from the front door. It is clear from the comments in the Guest Book that our complimentary views were shared by large numbers of other guests,

Loved staying here - great little place with lots of attention to detail, such as the lovely plants in the patio garden and nice toiletries provided. Also super close to town and the canal which was useful. Would definitely stay again.

We really enjoyed our stay at Janis's place. The location is great, place is very spacious and contained all the amenities that we needed for a comfortable stay. Janis is also really lovely and communication was great throughout our stay. Would 100% recommend!

Absolutely loved staying here. We stayed for about a month and the weather was perfect so we could fully take advantage of the little garden area. Loads to do around in Clitheroe and all definitely walking distance. Kerry was super when it came to responding to messages and we loved staying here. Will definitely recommend and we will definitely book here again when we visit.
