Farmstay holiday rentals in Cork

This was the cottage experience we were hoping for in Ireland! We loved the character of the cottage with so much thought put into every detail and texture. The art and decor were very tasteful and the amenities were good and practical. We especially loved making a fire each night even though we aren't terribly experienced at it! And the views from all the windows of the peaceful vegetation were so calming. And the private sitting areas in the yard were delightful - one with an ocean view! Their dog was sweet and friendly, too. The instructions for using the hot water were clear, but somehow we mixed them up so struggled a little with the shower but got it straight eventually! Aisling and Donagh were delightful hosts. A short drive away, Baltimore is a true gem of a town with breathtaking scenery and a rich cultural scene, and it even has a michelin star restaurant if that's your speed. Plus the fun algiers pub! We hope to come back again soon

We stayed here for 6 nights and had an amazing time. At first the house was quite chilly due to strong winds, but with the fireplace it luckily became warm fastly. Matt and Maura are such accomodating and welcoming people, who made us feel at home fast. They gave us fresh eggs from their hens and lots of good tips for the area. There is also a Sauna now, which you can book. We got extra towels for the sauna and for surfing, too. All in all our stay at the acumeen farm was a great experience and made us fall in love with this part of Ireland.

This had to be one of my favorite experiences in all of Airbnb. Wonderful hosts and immaculate country cottage. It had everything we needed and more. It was so peaceful and relaxing. You’d get to wake up and see the sheep. We were able to experience sheep herding and feeding the babies. Could not say more positive things about these fantastic hosts!

A little piece of heaven.. absolutely loved our time here. The Cottage is beautifully restored, very cost. Beautiful clean beach. we will be back...that's for sure.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Kevin's home, the house was as described and the location was great with lovely walks and views from the doorstep. The walk to zetland pier for a swim was the highlight for us, Hopefully we'll be back next summer.

We loved our stay. The location is beautiful and peaceful, adjacent to pastures and set in a pretty garden. The barn is tastefully decorated, the kitchen well equipped and very comfortable overall. We loved Coco the dog especially, who visited us every morning and made us feel right at home.

Alice and Ivor are absolutely wonderful hosts. Very friendly and easy to communicate with before and during our stay. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the farm as it has the rural location that we look for when we travel, and yet was an easy walk into the lovely village of Dunmanway to catch a bus. The 2 bedroom converted barn unit was just as described and shown in the picture. We felt right at home immediately as Alice keeps the unit clean, tidy and stocked with the necessities. Both Alice and Ivor encouraged us to roam the property if inclined or to check out milking time with Ivor. We did both! 😀

Ann and Donal were absolutely amazing. So welcoming and friendly! We made so many memories there with our children and we will definitely be returning. We were shown the farm, milked the cows, saw the kittens and a baby foal was born the day before we arrived. You can also walk the farm. We drank some of their fresh milk which was delicious in my coffee! It is a working farm so to keep that in mind and safety first! Thanks so much Ann and Donal.

If you are looking for a quiet location this wee space is really delightful. Watching the Alpacas out our back door and listening to the morning birds was what we found here. It’s a ways from Kenmare but there are several nice restaurants nearby without the crowds.

The cottage was lovely and their dog (Bear) is delightful.

Amazing place. Very quiet and cosy but extremely well equipped and kitted for eating in and cooking. David and Martina communicated very proactively and made us feel right at home and even introduced us to their felines. Will definitely return.

spent a relaxing 2 days in the pod, didn't actually want to leave it. Even when it rains there its relaxing, listening to the rain and sitting inside looking out at nature. Thank you Michael and kerry for the opportunity to enjoy a stay at your pod.

We had a fantastic time the place was beautiful and so peaceful. Easy to get to places by car and there is a bus every hour to go visit surrounding places. Padraig was very helpful and gave us advice on how to get round. We had a visit from the dog who kept us company as an added bonus!

Martina was a great host. Location was fab, great local recommendations and Martina was very attentive by text to our needs Thanks again !

⸻ Cozy, Scenic Stay Near Kenmare – A True Gem! 🌿🌊 We had a wonderful stay in this beautifully appointed container home just outside Kenmare. The space, while small and simple, has everything you need and is cleverly designed to make the most of its surroundings. Large windows let nature in at every angle — waking up to views of the river and surrounding greenery was such a treat. Our host was incredibly kind and thoughtful. She gave us excellent recommendations for places to eat and points of interest in the area. She even offered to drive us into town for dinner, which was above and beyond! If you’re looking for a peaceful, nature-focused stay with easy access to Kenmare, this is the perfect spot. It’s a unique experience — cozy, serene, and full of charm. Highly recommend!

Kelly was a fabulous host. Setting was exquisite for the adventurous at heart. Great location as a home base for exploring the southwest coast of Ireland.

Had a lovely few days away staying in Kate's accommodation. She was very helpful and great to deal with. The accommodation was perfect for a quiet getaway and met all of our needs, would recommend to a friend.

Beautiful location, the place was spotless and the beds are very comfortable as was the living area. We were only there one night and in-and-out the next day so didn't use all the facilities but I doubt you'd be disappointed. We ate at Willie Pa's just up the road and while the food wasn't cordon bleu, what it lacked in quality it made up for in quantity - great if you have a family to feed.

This was our second stay in Thomas’s place. It is such a beautiful, cosy and comfortable cottage. I highly recommend it.

Probably the best Airbnb experience I have ever had. The house was immaculate and fully equipped with everything we needed. Collette’s kitchen was filled with snacks and groceries for breakfast and she brought us freshly baked scones in the morning for breakfast. To be honest, probably the best scones we’ve ever had. Would 100% recommend this listing to anyone who wants to enjoy a few nights in the peace and quiet away from the city.

Amazing house. So quiet, so clean….but the view is the best part. Even with a little bit of clouds, you could still see the hills of Killarney. It is a 15-20 minute drive/ride from the main city center for those late night bar hoppers. We had trouble with the washing machine, but Nora responded immediately and had it fixed with in 5 minutes.

Amazing house and host!!! Wish we could have stayed here for a week. Beautiful property and Ann was wonderful.
