We loved our stay - the house felt very secluded with beautiful views and our son loved the cows in the nearby field, as well as the visits from the dog next door. It is a traditional house that matches the description and the pictures. It is only a short drive to the local shops / town which was great. Thank you for such a nice stay and for all your local recommendations!

Our stay at Matthew’s place was amazing. The area is very quiet and is perfect to have a peaceful relaxing time surrounded by a beautiful landscapes. Everything was clean and well-equipped. Matthew also gives very good recommendations for restaurants nearby! I won’t hesitate to come back here for a future stay!

The alpaca farm was so fun!! We had such a good time staying at Emma’s place. Lots of animals all the time and a great way to get out of the city while visiting Ireland.

We had an amazing few days at Dyane & Sean’s beautiful cottage. The cottage is very convenient to Courtmacsherry village and has a gorgeous sea view. The cottage is very well stocked with all the essentials and more! Dyane & Sean were very helpful and responsive to any questions we had during our trip. Thank you for having us!

We loved our stay. The location is beautiful and peaceful, adjacent to pastures and set in a pretty garden. The barn is tastefully decorated, the kitchen well equipped and very comfortable overall. We loved Coco the dog especially, who visited us every morning and made us feel right at home.

We had a lovely stay at the dairy lodge! The location is absolutely stunning, and it’s impossible to beat the uniqueness of staying on a working dairy farm. There were free range chickens in the backyard and we got to meet a new baby calf! The family that runs it is very friendly, we had a really nice time chatting with them about the farm and area. We were only there for a brief stay but I would love to return someday for a longer visit. If you’re looking for a relaxing getaway, this is a fantastic spot!

We were welcomed so graciously, given a tour of the place, and learned lots about the area from Bernie, she was so very kind and lovely to chat with. The doggos were so cute and friendly as well. The view was stunning, bed was comfortable, and pantry was well stocked with delicious treats. We loved everything about our stay, thank you for hosting us!

This was an extremely comfortable place to stay. Spacious apartment, excellent tiled bathroom with great water pressure and good quality thick towels. Plus shelves in a bathroom are always a benefit when travelling 👏🏻 The kitchen is very well equipped with hob, oven and microwave. Scissors, sharp knives, cling wrap and tin foil always handy 👍🏻 when travelling on the road. Thanks too for the Nespresso and pods 🙂☕️ Lots of PowerPoints and excellent wifi. We really appreciated having a washer and dryer (including great instructions) to catch up on our laundry. Dishwasher too was a treat with plenty of good crockery and cutlery. Lovely big bed in a spacious bedroom. Unit is upstairs but we were able to back car up drive to unload suitcases. Overnight parking is good.

Amazing place. Very quiet and cosy but extremely well equipped and kitted for eating in and cooking. David and Martina communicated very proactively and made us feel right at home and even introduced us to their felines. Will definitely return.

spent a relaxing 2 days in the pod, didn't actually want to leave it. Even when it rains there its relaxing, listening to the rain and sitting inside looking out at nature. Thank you Michael and kerry for the opportunity to enjoy a stay at your pod.

We had a fantastic time the place was beautiful and so peaceful. Easy to get to places by car and there is a bus every hour to go visit surrounding places. Padraig was very helpful and gave us advice on how to get round. We had a visit from the dog who kept us company as an added bonus!

⸻ Cozy, Scenic Stay Near Kenmare – A True Gem! 🌿🌊 We had a wonderful stay in this beautifully appointed container home just outside Kenmare. The space, while small and simple, has everything you need and is cleverly designed to make the most of its surroundings. Large windows let nature in at every angle — waking up to views of the river and surrounding greenery was such a treat. Our host was incredibly kind and thoughtful. She gave us excellent recommendations for places to eat and points of interest in the area. She even offered to drive us into town for dinner, which was above and beyond! If you’re looking for a peaceful, nature-focused stay with easy access to Kenmare, this is the perfect spot. It’s a unique experience — cozy, serene, and full of charm. Highly recommend!

Loved our stay here. Paudie and Anne were so kind and friendly and their place is one of our favorites. I wanted to stay longer! The breakfast next door at the b and b was wonderful and a great start to our day. It’s close to town for restaurants and yet has spectacular views of the area. I’d highly recommend this place!!!

Kelly was a fabulous host. Setting was exquisite for the adventurous at heart. Great location as a home base for exploring the southwest coast of Ireland.

Such an amazing everything. The apartment is fabulous - incredible location, beautiful inside and out. Our host was wonderful and incredibly nice. It was a great place to stay and just be able to relax between day trips around Kerry. Absolutely loved it and, if you can book it, I cannot recommend it highly enough. What a pleasure.

Had a lovely few days away staying in Kate's accommodation. She was very helpful and great to deal with. The accommodation was perfect for a quiet getaway and met all of our needs, would recommend to a friend.

This place is at the top two Airbnb places I ever had. The surrounding area is some of the most beautiful you’ll see. A minute from the gap of Dunloe. We drove it for four days. Should leave before 10am because it gets busy. This place is way nicer than advertised. It is so peaceful. I would definitely stay again. Margaret was great to communicate with, and answered any questions within 20 minutes.

Rose cottage is designed really well, combines an architectural sympathy with the surrounding landscape whilst the simplicity of the uncluttered interior make for very comfortable living.

This was our second stay in Thomas’s place. It is such a beautiful, cosy and comfortable cottage. I highly recommend it.

We had a really lovely week in John & Eileen's beautiful, cosy cottage. It is wonderfully located close to all the amenities of Killarney and yet also in a peaceful country setting. The cottage is exactly as shown in the photos with the added bonus of a working fireplace which was a real treat to use each night. Eileen looked after us perfectly making sure we had everything we needed for our stay. Overall we are very happy to recommend John and Eileen and their beautiful cottage to anyone.

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful home. Nora was a fantastic host—very responsive and helpful. The house is spacious, modern, and well laid out, with four large bedrooms and a generous master en-suite. The kitchen is fully equipped, and the dining area offers stunning views of the Kerry Mountains. It was perfect for our group of nine spanning three generations. The home is private, set off the main road with a large front yard where the kids played freely. It’s just 15 minutes from Killarney, with its charming pubs, restaurants, cafés, shopping, and tourist attractions. We spent time exploring the national parks and touring the Ring of Kerry—there’s so much to do in the area. We’d highly recommend this home and its location to anyone wanting a peaceful retreat with easy access to all that Killarney and Kerry offer.

This is a great location as a base for idilic drives or walks. The accommodation has a wonderful rustic feel.
