We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the small, cosy cottage. The view is stunning, and it’s conveniently located close to all the amenities in Brodick. Parking is free on the street, and only a small car can fit in the driveway. Highly recommended.

Idyllic place in a beautiful location - short walk to the beach and the rat race event. Was super clean, shower is great, bed comfy and perfect size for myself. I lucked out in a sunny week and the lil terrace table and chair got sunlight through the day. Lorna was super responsive and quick and efficient. Woodhead Snug is easy to find only a 10 min drive from the ferry along a road which presents no problems. The shoreline is a short walk away, allowing the opportunity for a pleasant stroll. When I arrived, I received a very warm welcome from Mara. The Snug is tastefully furnished and well equipped. Essentials such as hand wash, washing up liquid, cooking oil, kitchen roll and foil were provided. Everything was clean and tidy. The shower pressure provided a high flow with a choice of temperature, while the towels were of good quality and size. I found the bed very comfortable and slept well. The Snug is an excellent base to investigate the island. It was good to return to enjoy a cup of tea at the picnic table in the sun or relax on the sofa in the warmth after being out on less favourable days. I enjoyed my 5 night stay. Thank you Mara
