Holiday rentals with a hot tub in Costa Rica

Not only was Mariana a phenomenal host, her home and surrounding area was exceptionally beautiful with the most amazing views. It was peaceful and private. We would be lucky to have the chance to stay at Mariana’s and would choose it again and again! The pool was an absolute hit for the kids and adults! Mariana was attentive and went above and beyond! my husband and I loved our stay at Casa Gungun! Rodrigo was very good at communicating. We loved the peaceful area and the view was amazing! the road to the place is very rough and makes it a bit harder in and out for doing things but just know you don't get anywhere fast in costa rica. Ate the best pizza of our life at Kon tiki! Hot tub struggled to get hot with the power outages was the only slight bummer but we enjoyed it when it was hot outside instead!

Beautiful place, with a pool and private jacuzzi. Surrounded by nature. Tracy the host and Doña Maria the cleaning lady were exceptional and kind. Very well-equipped house. We would return without hesitation

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Flower’s Paradise. Jarvey and Flor were gracious hosts, providing a tour of their family’s property, introducing my children to Max the Dog, sharing restaurant and activity recommendations and even offering to book activities for us. Jarvey shared small gifts each day - Costa Rican coffee, Flor’s delicious bread, fresh mora berries from Jarvey’s mora bush. These sweet surprises made us feel so special and cared for. We saw hummingbirds and agouti daily. We loved watching the clouds roll in and the afternoon rain from the covered balcony This home truly is paradise! Note: as others have mentioned, this view requires a drive up a steep hill. I appreciated having a 4x4 vehicle.

A absolute privilege to spend a few days here as a family. A gem of a house that felt immediately like a home. We loved the quirks and the passion for enjoyment. Top of our price range but to us it was worth every penny. Thank you Tucker.

The place is too beautiful and it's easy to find and on the main street, it's super close and everything is very private, quiet and waiting to return!

Wonderful week with my family of four! Loved Punta Islita—beautiful beach and resort- amenities available to us! So much wildlife around! We actually loved the separate master bedroom, worked perfectly for us. The pool was exquisite! Highly recommend!

Jason's place is amazing. Very well kept and clean with plenty of space, a great outdoor area to enjoy with a huge hot tub, panoramic windows in the main bedroom, and only 10 minutes from the main town. Ubers are easily ordered from the house as well. Thank you for the great stay!

Nice quiet location with plenty of space and amenities. We only had the chance to stay for one night unfortunately but would be happy to go back on another trip. Support is available locally in case of anything needed during the stay which we made use of. Close to La Fortuna which is just a short drive away.

We enjoy our stay. Russell was very friendly and helpful. The place was comfortable, clean and felt very safe. We were amazed with all the birds singing in the morning. It’s a bit difficult to find, especially at night when you’re not familiar with driving in Costa Rica but Russell provided very clear directions and is very responsive.

Genaro is a great host. Friendly, helpful and communicates well. All the information needed to have a seem-less experience was provided to us prior to arriving, which gave us a piece of mind. The room is very spacious and beautiful; the pictures do not do it justice. The area is walkable with great places to eat. The area is also quiet and serene which made enjoying the outdoor space relaxing including the volcano view from the rooftop terrace. Breathtaking! There is some construction in the area that can be heard during the day but it didn’t bother us much as we spent that time doing excursions. Would definitely recommend anyway and plan on returning!

We had an amazing stay at this Airbnb! The customer service was exceptional—our host was friendly, responsive, and made us feel welcome from the start. The private villa was stunning: spacious, beautifully decorated, and spotless. It felt like our own peaceful oasis, with an incredible backyard area with a private pool and jacuzzi as well as a private area to park within it own sliding gate. The location was unbeatable—just minutes from downtown, with endless things to do nearby. We enjoyed exploring local restaurants, shops, and attractions, all within easy reach. Despite being so close to the action, the villa offered quiet, comfort, and privacy at the end of each day. It was the perfect balance of convenience and serenity. This stay exceeded our expectations. We’d absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a memorable, high-quality experience. Wow!!! What an experience!! Whitney’s place was absolutely amazing!!! Perfect place for our family vacation. Enough room for everyone and space to not feel cluttered! Beautiful views & beautiful amenities!!! Simone was beyond helpful!!! Such an amazing woman and made so many amazing experiences with her! She made the entire trip seamless! She took us on our snorkeling tour & to spend the day with Indigenous Boruca Sergio & his mom. Such a beautiful experience. Vlad, our chef, was AMAZING!!!! He made each of our meals better than the next & my birthday extra special!!! We caught tuna & he switched it up and served it fresh that night!!! His bartending skills were on point too and he became like family!!! Don’t hesitate on staying here I promise you’ll love it!! A simply wonderful cabin! The hosts' service is unparalleled, I'd return a thousand times!

We loved our stay at Magdalena’s house. It was like a private tropical paradise and Magdalena is the perfect host. Max planned our excursions for us and was SO helpful. The house was lovely but the backyard was amazing. The house features a wrap around porch with a comfy couch and chairs and large outdoor dining table. There is a separate large outdoor kitchen area with grills, additional seating and a hot tub. The infinity pool is steps away. The view from all vantage points is breathtaking and the grounds are landscaped beautifully. The beds were comfortable, the bathrooms clean with rain showers and plenty of hot water. The AC worked perfectly and kept us cool. Esmeralda came daily and even did our dishes and laundry. The house is a 40 minute drive to the Arenal area. The main roads into La Fortuna were well maintained. The drive was long but easy. Shopping was a bit of a challenge but there are local “supermarkets” and a Maxi Pali in La Fortuna. Enjoy!

My husband and I stayed here for almost a week, and it was truly one of the highlights of our trip to Costa Rica. The property is nestled in a secluded, private area that feels like your own little hideaway in nature. It’s perfect for a romantic escape. It gave off such a peaceful, treehouse-like vibe, and everything was beautifully clean and well maintained. One of our favorite features was the balcony with the jacuzzi, perfect for relaxing in the evenings while taking in the views. The host was incredibly friendly, responsive, and offered great local recommendations, including a few nearby restaurants we really enjoyed. While it’s about a 30-minute drive from downtown La Fortuna, we honestly didn’t mind it at all. The tranquility and beauty of the property more than made up for the distance, and we’d absolutely stay here again in a heartbeat.

David was amazing. And his space was absolutely beautiful. The pictures do not do it justice. It really is a little oasis. The outside terrace was maybe my favorite part. And the garden/small trail is beautiful. It's literally a 3 minute walk from El Salto, which is a blast. And it's a quick 15 minute walk to the center of La Fortuna, making shopping and eating out really convenient without having to worry about transportation. David also helped us setup our transportation from the airport and to our 2nd Air BnB. Next time I'm in Fortuna, I already know where I'm staying. Thanks again for having us. Pura Vida.

I loved all the amenities, my girlfriend loved spotting local birds. The place was beatiful and peaceful.

This place is a paradise! It was the perfect home base to explore the La Fortuna area. The beautiful gardens are full of wildlife to enjoy, and the hot tub was a perfect place to relax at the end of the day. Jonathan was quick to respond and the place was spotless when we arrived. We can't wait to return!
