Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Costa Tropical

While Granada itself was not our cup of tea, this stay was a beautiful oasis. It was perfect for our needs, and the views from the windows were incredible--especially at night.

We spent a great week with our family in Philippe's house. The house is nestled in the beautiful nature with a view of the reservoir and the mountains of the Sierra Nevada, which are still snow-covered in our time. You live there in harmony with nature and can discover a lot. Our kids really enjoyed the garden and especially the pool. We took many beautiful excursions from there to Granada (Alhambra) and also up into the mountains and felt very comfortable.

Nico's house is ideal for spending a few quiet days. In the village, you can breathe peace. There is no noise, and that allows you to disconnect. The best thing about the house is its wonderful pool and the terrace. We had the advantage of not having to share with the other houses. All rooms have air conditioning, which is necessary for the summer. A luxury!

We had a fantastic stay at this wonderful house which has been thoughtfully refurbished and decorated! The house had everything we needed and everything was very well thought out. It’s a perfect place for a relaxing escape while still being in good reach of Velez-Malaga and Malaga itself by car. Our hosts were always very helpful, with excellent communication throughout. They took extra care to make sure that we were okay and had everything we needed during the Spain blackout which was very kind! We would happily come back to stay again!!

The house as well as the photos of the listing, quiet area, the beach very close, with air conditioning in all rooms and dining room, garage that took three cars. The restaurant and supermarket area is nearby. Everything was very clean. We were very comfortable. Definitely 100% recommended.

We stayed here with our family and had the best time in Granada! It’s in a perfect location if you want to be close to city center while being outside of its hassle. We had a chance to visit Nerja which is just one hour away from the house. Pablo was great at communicating and accommodating our early check in and late check out. So lucky to have experienced this beautiful place!

Marta’s house is tranquil and beautiful. It has a very comfortable feel, with a beautiful collection of paintings and objects. And, of course, the views are spectacular. We had a lovely time there, and we’d be happy to return.

Fabulous, from start to finish. Araceli always responded promptly and her communication helped with a very smooth checkin. The apartment was exactly as it states online. Spacious, great roof terrace, air conditioning and a good supply of kitchen utensils. Clean inside and out and extremely comfortable. The views are wonderful, out to sea, and perfect for people watching, with a glass of wine. Thanks Araceli for making our holiday so memorable.

The house is spectacular, everything is impeccable,the area is fantastic for spending a few days on vacation with the beach very close there are also numerous chiringuitos where you can eat and have a good time. The area is easily accessible with the exit to the national road very close. The development is spectacular with swimming pool, playground, paddle tennis and private parking. I recommend it 100%

A fantastic accommodation. Perfect for couples. You are completely undisturbed and blessed with absolute privacy. The view and the cottage are beautiful and invite you to linger or spend a cozy day by the pool. The drive up the mountain is a bit tedious, but you will be well compensated by the great view. We found the location of the accommodation to be an optimal center for excursions to Ronda, Seville, Granada and Cordoba. Each destination is between 1.5 and 2.5 hours' drive (all four are highly recommended). The accommodation was very clean and very practical. Helga is an absolutely reliable and accommodating hostess.

A little corner of paradise nestled in the countryside. Very quiet environment and private accommodation where nothing is missing (parking in the courtyard, private pool, terrace, barbecue, wifi...) Miguel is very responsive and discreet. Car essential. The best rb&b we've ever done. Highly recommended!

It's hard to put Jeime and Manolo's accommodation and everything around it into words... But if there was a word that fit, it's "oasis". We have rarely felt so comfortable in an Airbnb, in fact we can even say it was the best Airbnb we have ever stayed in! Jaime, Manolo and their two children, as well as the dogs, were all wonderful and gave us a little of their great energy. Last but not least, the rooms were very tastefully decorated, comfortable and had everything you needed. We also enjoyed using the kitchen and the garden is an absolute paradise. Unfortunately, we were only there for 3 days and would have liked to stay much longer. It won't be the last time we're there. We could write a lot more about the two and their unique accommodation, but we don't want to go off on a tangent here. In that sense: Thank you, Manolo, thank you, Jaime! Just back from a wonderful stay at Ashleigh’s gorgeous and peaceful Casa. The view from both inside the property and the terraces was absolutely spectacular at every time of day. Just like the photos. Everything worked perfectly in the home, including a high spec kitchen, and the pool was heated to a very comfortable temperature for swimming, even when the air was a bit chilly. The children were in heaven, and we especially appreciated that there was no additional charge for the heating of the pool. The view from within the pool is second to none- with snow capped mountains to the North and the sea and the Moorish castle all to behold. Truly breathtaking. The layout of the house was ideal for our family, and the location provided much-needed peace and quiet, while it was a 5 minute drive into Salobrena for all the amenities one could need. Ashleigh was very responsive to our questions. We loved every minute of our stay and are already discussing when we might visit again!

The apartment is spacious, very nice, well-appointed. Everything is clean and new. The view of the beach is beautiful. The neighborhood is lively even in November. The restaurants are good and there are plenty of sites to visit. Finally, the welcome from our host is warm. We felt right at home.

We had a brilliant stay. Natalia was always helpful and welcoming and helped us plan great activities to explore the area. She cooked us a delicious meal on our first evening, and we enjoyed cooking our own meals after that. The bird life is phenomenal in the surrounding countryside - we heard nightingales singing at night, and watched bee eaters in flight. The beach, the cities and the hiking are all readily accessible. As a family of 5 with children aged 8, 14 and 17 it was the perfect mix of luxury comfort, adventure and cultural experience. Thank you for giving us such a memorable holiday stay.

We loved our stay in this tiny Andalusian village in the hills. It was in a peaceful and beautiful location. We felt so at home there and loved the traditional feel to the house. We ate outside every mealtime, enjoying the views from the wonderfully spacious garden and made the most of the pool. We ventured out to Competa and visited a great new restaurant (by day) and also a trendy insta worthy bar (by night) called Adrianos. We also visited the coast once (be careful not to take the small mountain road back. Big mistake on our part!). We knew the parking was on the road, but the access steps to the house are uneven and steep which was not a problem in the slightest for my husband and but proved a struggle for my mother in law and her wonky hip! Maybe make that clearer for those who find access tricky. All in all, we loved it here and are so grateful for the handy hints offered by the owners so promptly. We hope to return with our grown up children next year! Thank you.

Everything was perfect. The service was excellent at all times and the apartment was impeccable. Everything was very clean, tidy and had absolutely everything. It was a pleasure to have spent a week enjoying and disconnecting. 100% recommended!

Everything we were looking for and more. The accommodation is first class! Everything you need is available along with outstanding views of the beautiful surroundings from all angles of the accommodation. We were impressed by the pictures but the reality is even better. We had a very peaceful relaxing break at Cristina’s place. Although the owners live above the accommodation, you would never know, it all felt very private. Cristina was a very responsive host and helped us out with lots of tips on where to eat, visit etc. I would not hesitate to recommend Cristina’s place. We will definitely be returning.

Lovely stay. House exactly as described. The location is perfect in the old town with shops, restaurants and much more all within walking distance. Parking always involved a walk but it wouldn't put me off as surroundings are lovely. Lots of great beaches within a short drive see Pedro's guide. Thank you.

We arrived at 2am and were greeted by Joy. She is very responsive. The apartment is nice, clean, there is absolutely everything you need if you cook it yourself. We were with children, so we cooked often and this was what we needed. The location is great. The beach is 7-8 minutes walk. Overall we liked it and recommend it.
