The Butterfly, Stonewall Colorado

For years I have dreamed of Christmas in a little cabin in the woods. This was it!! This is a historic cabin and site! It was so cozy with many time piece furnishings and decor. It had many personal touches that gave it a warm feeling. I can’t say enough about how well the kitchen was stocked! It had everything needed to cook a full meal (often at Air B & B’s there will only be a couple of pans to cook with). The place was clean and well stocked with towels in bathroom and kitchen, paper supplies, wood for the fireplace, and even had electric blankets for those extra chilly nights! We loved all the windows in cabin and enjoyed watching deer through almost any window in the house, but especially the picture windows in the living room! We sat outside on the front porch to enjoy the sunshine with a cup of coffee in cups like my grandparents used to have! Thank you for sharing your peaceful and lovely cabin! It was a dream come true, even got a dusting of snow one morning!

Pepper Sauce Camp Cabin 2

RhondaRating, 5 stars4 months ago
This cabin was perfect for our 2 night stay. Studio size, but had everything we needed, plus a fireplace. There was also a propane wall heater and an electric heater. The fridge was small, but held everything we brought, including a 9x13 casserole dish. There is a small microwave, mini fridge, 1 burner hot plate, 5C coffee pot, toaster and a toaster oven. Dishes, pots & pans and flatware all provided. The bathroom was small, but had an excellent layout and nice towels. Queen bed had nice heavy flannel sheets and a coverlet. The memory foam bed was a bit firm for us, but we will stay again. Unfortunately, we didn't get to explore this trip. The only drawback for us, was it didn't have lighting at night. I had lived in the area before, and knew where it was, but it is easy to miss at night. Don was amazing to work with and we look forward to going again.

Mountain yurt for the solo traveler

Amani and Sage are wonderful people. The Solo Yurt is a favorite - the bed is sooo comfy, there's a place to cook and do dishes, the well water is a delight. The bathhouse is luxurious and sparkling clean. Most of all, I felt so safe and taken care of here on the property.
