Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Coulounieix-Chamiers

Nous avons séjourné deux nuits dans la maison de Mickael, en famille. Cette maison rustique, commode et spacieuse est accueillante.

Great rural location and wonderful hosts! Near the famous Riberac Friday market, and picturesque villages like Aubeterre, Bourdeilles, Brantome, etc.

Nous avons séjourné dans ce logement quelques jours, c'est un véritable havre de paix ! Nous avons pu découvrir la Dordogne grâce aux recommandations de nos hôtes. Nous reviendrons !!

Nous avons eu le plaisir de séjourner chez Anne et avons rencontré une hôte adorable, emplie de bonne humeur. Elle s’est assuré que nous ne manquions de rien pour notre séjour sans pour autant se montrer intrusive. Le logement est encore plus agréable en vrai qu’en photo, le calme la bas y est maître, vous trouverez de quoi vous occuper dans le logement ou bien les activités dans les environs ne manquent pas. Nous pensons déjà au moment où nous reviendrons.

Such an idyllic stay! The gîte is perfectly located amidst peaceful surroundings, you really feel like you’re in the middle of the French countryside. The garden is enormous, and was a lovely area for our little girl to run around. The pool area is very clean and looks new, located within the grounds , it’s a little walk from the gite but this is great for feeling of privacy. The gite itself is well equipped, clean, spacious and remains cool even when it’s very warm outside. A home away from home. It’s very easy to park outside the front. The local village is very picturesque with restaurants, boulangerie, mini supermarket. It’s a quick drive down, but was too far for us to walk, especially in the heat. Sarah was a fantastic host, was very easy to contact and responsive. Such a wonderful introduction to the Dordogne region for my family and I100% would recommend. Merci beaucoup pour tout, Sarah. Très bel appartement, joliment décoré. très bien placé pour profiter du centre de Périgueux avec des stationnements gratuits à proximité. Attention avec des jeunes enfants car il y a beaucoup de décorations et plantes accessibles à leur hauteur, mais c'est ce qui donne un charme fou à cet appartement.

Odette, de vrouw van François, ontving ons vriendelijk en liet ons direct thuis voelen. Zij zorgde ervoor dat wij direct in relax-modus konden. Wij kregen ook tips over wat wij eventueel konden doen en omdat wij op doorreis waren, wat we ook beter ergens anders konden doen. François en Odette kwamen tijdens ons verblijf meerdere malen checken of alles naar wens was waardoor we ook gezellig hebben gekletst. Zeer gastvriendelijke mensen en een top studio (die schijnbaar ook nog gerenoveerd gaat worden). 'S ochtends vertrokken wij om 08:00 en zij stonden klaar ons uit te zwaaien. Zeker een aanrader!

lieu magique l'univers d'Harry Potter est bien représenté notre fille était très contente . La Taverne du sorcier ne serait rien sans une parfaite gardienne du temple sabrina remplit à merveille ce rôle fans d'Harry Potter pressez vous !

Séjour très court dans le cadre d'une formation, mais néanmoins très apprécié. Logement doté d'équipements de qualité et aménagé avec soin. De quoi s'occuper est également laissé à disposition, c'est agréable, tout comme les petites attentions des propriétaires. Des échanges intéressants avec Jean-Paul sur la vie du village et les oiseaux des alentours. Une parenthèse "nature" chez des hôtes qui la respectent. N'hésitez pas !

Super séjour chez Isa et Ridwan. Très bonne communication. Appartement impeccable, très bien entretenu et décoré avec goût. Ce fut un plaisir d’y séjourner. Je recommande !

We had a great stay at La Maison Chaleureuse, and were very comfortable in the Nautical Suite, which was beautifully set out. Warmly greeted by Ann and Daniel, it was lovely to be treated to breakfast provisions and bottles of wine! The spacious apartment and the outdoor pool was perfect for our 4 night stay, and the location is great - short walk to restaurants, boulongerie and an amazing Friday market. A great place to just relax by the pool, it was also ideal to explore the area with visits to Périgueux, Brantôme and Bordeaux. Thanks Ann and Daniel.

Excellent séjour chez Agathe dans un petit havre de paix en pleine nature, dépaysant et reposant. N'hésitez pas à profiter du bain nordique et sauna chauffés au feu de bois, une très belle expérience malgré le mauvais temps !! Nous recommandons vivement ce logement.

We spent a wonderfully restful and restorative week staying at Le Lapin Sur le Toit. The house is very old and characterful, and full of quirks. Extremely comfortable, both inside and outside, whatever the weather is doing; we had mostly very hot weather and were glad of the thick stone walls keeping the house nice and cool. The kitchen is well-equipped. We made use of local markets (the one in Rouffignac on Sunday morning is great for essentials, and there is a bigger one in St Cyprien) The small 8 à 8 Carrefour in Rouffignac has all the basics, and bigger supermarkets at Le Bugue and Montingac. The garden is beautiful and very private. We are not bird experts by any means, but saw and heard woodpeckers, cuckoos and hoopoes. We saw lizards, deer, bats and walked down to the field at the bottom of the garden to see the horses. Cat also came to inspect us on evening patrol. Overall, a beautiful, comfortable house in a peaceful, tranquil setting.

Such a wonderful location, so secluded and peaceful. We were welcomed warmly and calmly. The house was spotless, the pool was lovely and warm and the house is much larger than it appears. We particularly liked the huge bed. Coming from England we were excited by the shutters and it was perfectly dark. We slept so well. Our only regret is that we didn’t stay longer. We will be coming back next time we are in France, and next time bringing friends. It was wonderful.

Our group of six thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this lovely Airbnb. Our host greeted us when we arrived and provided us with some very appreciated treats. We enjoyed relaxing outside by the pool which was surrounded by a beautiful garden. Our host was very responsive when communicating with us. We appreciated the thoughtful attention to detail this home provided.

Nous n’avons pas eu la chance de rencontrer Éric en personne, mais la communication a été excellente : fluide, claire, et il s’est montré très disponible et à l’écoute. La maison est parfaitement équipée, avec de beaux volumes intérieurs, confortables et décorés avec goût. L’extérieur est tout aussi agréable, avec une grande piscine et une jolie terrasse ombragée près de la cuisine, idéale pour des déjeuners en plein air. Tout pour passer un excellent séjour en famille ! Merci encore, Éric.

Beautiful house, with an absolutely therific garden and a proper pool. The value is extremely good for the price!

Great place to stay - lots of garden around the house to relax in and fabulous pool. Beautiful surroundings and good base for exploring the Dordogne. Tim and Nathalie were great hosts and we enjoyed the buffet on our arrival and the pizzas later in the week.

Die Unterkunft ist ein Juwel. Sie war sehr sauber und perfekt ausgestattet – es hat wirklich an nichts gefehlt. Das Haus ist sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet und wir haben uns sofort wohl gefühlt. Besonders für Familien ideal: Der Pool ist sicher umzäunt, was uns ein sehr gutes Gefühl gegeben hat. Absolute Empfehlung!

Stunning! Yes the house is amazing and the space is well furnished and the material noble (wood and stone)… but for us it was the stunning views of the entire valleys and the bright stars in the jacuzzi at night which made this place unforgettable.
