Caroline and Gilles are very warm and friendly hosts who were immediately available for questions. The listing is as described in the photos. It is a truly exceptional, very large apartment. The living room (formerly the station hall) resembles a museum, Caroline and Gilles have collected old station utensils and pictures and exhibited them there. The house and garden are lovingly restored and designed, the two have invested a lot of work (and money) to turn the old train station into a wonderful accommodation. There is nothing missing in the kitchen. The center of Le Bugue is about 1 km away, via the beautiful bike path "voie verte" it is 4 km. We enjoyed the bike tours and our accommodation very much. I also enjoyed the personal contact and a little "chat" in the evening, so I could once again use my "rusty" French skills. Thank you for everything!

Very nice apartment, nicely decorated. Very well located to enjoy the center of Périgueux with free parking nearby. Be careful with young children as there are plenty of decorations and plants accessible to their height, but that's what gives this apartment a crazy charm.

Francine and her relatives welcomed me and my dog very well in their home where nothing was missing, and very well located to visit the pretty corners of the region. I almost felt like family when talking on the evening walk with our dogs! If you like the calm and serenity of the countryside, don't hesitate!

The accommodation is very nice and very well-equipped. we enjoyed the veranda and garden with great pleasure. also note that the accommodation is located in a village with several shops (bakery, butcher, restaurant, coffee shop, grocery stores,....) it is very convenient. Wonderful holiday home in a great region. More sights in the immediate vicinity than you can see in 14 days as a family 😅 The house and garden are wonderfully quiet and beautifully landscaped, everything you could need on vacation is available (kitchen fully equipped, lots of toys for garden/pool) and the large child-safe fenced pool is a dream! Small vegetable garden with fresh strawberries and cherries to pick yourself, those who come in summer can certainly look forward to salads, tomatoes and zucchini. Many thanks to Régine, it was great to discover this completely unknown region of France from such a great location!

Gwenaël's gite is in a remarkable location! her reception was very warm and the nearby restaurant (l'Auberge) very good. Could easily have stayed longer!

Terrace just for us overlooking the garden in the back of the house. the house stays cool despite the hot summer. i recommend it!
