Smoking-friendly holiday rentals in Dordogne

Caroline and Gilles are very warm and friendly hosts who were immediately available for questions. The listing is as described in the photos. It is a truly exceptional, very large apartment. The living room (formerly the station hall) resembles a museum, Caroline and Gilles have collected old station utensils and pictures and exhibited them there. The house and garden are lovingly restored and designed, the two have invested a lot of work (and money) to turn the old train station into a wonderful accommodation. There is nothing missing in the kitchen. The center of Le Bugue is about 1 km away, via the beautiful bike path "voie verte" it is 4 km. We enjoyed the bike tours and our accommodation very much. I also enjoyed the personal contact and a little "chat" in the evening, so I could once again use my "rusty" French skills. Thank you for everything!

Our stay at Florence's was perfect. The accommodation is large, the bedding comfortable, the kitchen well-equipped. Everything was perfectly clean, the pool was very well maintained and always clean, as well as the jacuzzi. With the heatwave during our stay, we greatly appreciated the pool and the accommodation keeps the coolness very well! The surrounding garden is very pleasant for resting, having an aperitif... Lots of tourist sites to visit around. Florence gave us plenty of tips on the surroundings (restaurants, markets...) Very friendly welcome, very nice and warm host. We recommend it!

Great centrally located Périgueux apartment exactly as described. We used the apartment as long term base and were extremely happy to be in heart of enchanting historic district. Well equipped kitchen, with newly installed boiler. Comfortable bedrooms and great internet and TV. Very cool in summer heat. Highly recommend the nearby Le Troquet restaurant and Boukie’s Anglophone bookshop on Rue Taíllefer has English-French conversation group on Fridays at 17.30. Our host Florence and her son Charles were always extremely kind and helpful - we are very grateful to them. Will always have special memories of our stay here and Périgueux is a great base to explore the beautiful Dordogne.

The apartment is extremely well-situated within the old city of Sarlat. You can walk everywhere easily, and the private/free parking spot is an amazing perk. Vincent is a great host and super responsive. Highly recommend!

The apartment and the house are very lovingly renovated and carefully modernized, so that medieval charm and high comfort combine. The garden is large and beautiful, the location perfect. Françoise was very friendly and helpful on arrival (she also speaks very good German) and check-out was straightforward. All in all a great experience, we would have liked to have stayed a long time and enjoyed the tranquility and beauty of the place!

Solo motorcycle traveler. Area is beautiful. The location is peaceful, the accommodation is warm and authentic, the view is sublime. Small town 5 minutes' drive away where you can find everything. Multiple activities are available nearby: hiking, electric or non-electric biking, golf, canoeing, motorcycle road trip :-) In short, I had a great week :-)

Warm and friendly welcome from our host, punctuated with humor. The chalet is perfectly in line with the photos, the living room is spacious and friendly, you feel very good there right away, everything is very clean and nothing is missing. Its location allows for many visits radiating all around. We had a great time there.

Laurent and his wife were both very available, responsive and concerned about our comfort. The accommodation was very functional, clean when we arrived. It was a pleasant stay. The pool at this time was very pleasant. Thanks to Laurent for this stay, I recommend it.

Wedding weekend at the Château de Brie (if you are sightseeing in the area, this beautiful estate is worth visiting) we enjoyed our few hours of rest in Jeannette's very peaceful little house. We couldn't meet but we had very good exchanges with Jeannette to prepare for our arrival.

Very beautiful and large house, with a fabulous outdoor space! The bedding is comfortable and the kitchen is perfectly equipped for large tables. Jocelyne's welcome was very nice. The surroundings are beautiful and full of sightseeing and activities. We had a wonderful week there with the cousins.

The accommodation offered is a very nice apartment where everything has been planned, nothing is missing as at home. It is clear and well presented. The garden is beautiful with a SPA at our exclusive disposal. Brigitte and Eric are very pleasant hosts, attentive and responsive to requests. They offer us products from their garden. They are very available, but discreet. It is very pleasant to talk with them. The Périgord Noir is rich in castles, gardens and caves. Abundant documentation in the accommodation. We had an excellent vacation and warmly thank Brigitte and Eric for their contribution. We recommend this property without restriction.

Very pleasant stay that was what we were looking for. Quiet but close to the highways to discover the region. Pleasant and discreet host. House with all the comforts and amenities needed for a pleasant stay. Terrace just for us overlooking the garden in the back of the house. the house stays cool despite the hot summer. i recommend it!
