Barn accommodation in County Cork

We have no words to express how lovely is this house and how amazing our stay was at The Cow House! Every corner of the house is a dream (specially the kitchen!), Tim is an amazing host always there and quick responding any queries we could have. We will definitely be back! Thanks Tim!

We have fallen in love with Julie’s beautiful studio. Everything about the home is gorgeous, the house is so equipped, there are so many amenities and the pool and garden are fantastic. It’s definitely our favourite Airbnb that we’ve been to and we’ll definitely come back.

Beautiful location! Not far from Ballydehob and Skibbereen. Great space for the family to spread out and nice kitchen and family room to hangout in. Would definitely recommend!

We had a lovely week at Muddy Cottage. Perched on a peaceful hilltop overlooking the beautiful water at Union Hall the location is beautiful. We felt at home straightaway, with plenty of space for a family of four. Despite being very secluded, it's a just a walk down the hill to a good coffee shop (Nolans), pub (Dinty's), lovely restaurant/bar (The Dock Wall) and handy store (Centra). We spent our time exploring the area, stunning scenery and so many beautiful beaches and views. We enjoyed: - A bracing walk on Long Strand, after fish and chips at The Fish Basket - The windy views from the Baltimore Beacon - Exploring the local towns of Skibbereen and Clonakilty - The golden sands at Barley Cove Bay - Anakista Bar (the tin pub), with beautiful views and a great pint of Beamish on the way to Sheep's Head - Space and time to relax, without the crowds of some other areas So much more to explore next time!

Beautiful property. Can walk down to the river. Very conveniently located to towns and lots of sights to see, don't miss the waterfall or the deer. The towers are well worth the walk with another waterfall at the end. I would highly recommend this place.

Timmy's Cottage is really clean and comfortable. The kitchen is very well-stocked with equipment and there are books and games (& a TV with Saorview too) available for those days that the weather isn't up to much. The Location is lovely and check-in and communication with Tadhg were very pleasant and easy. A good house for a family or a group of friends. The House is about 20 minutes walk from the pier and about 10-15 minutes to the main beach, Sailing School, Pizzheiria/Café, Island Cottage Restaurant and Gallery. There is a closer beach, but it is most easily accessible by boat/kayak although if you are prepared to hike (off-road) you can get there on foot too. We really enjoyed our stay there and would recommend it to others.

"Ait mo Chroi" ( Where my heart is ) is a fantastic getaway location. The house is very clean, spaceous , bright and airy, secluded, and very well equipped. We would recommend it to family and friends It is a bit off the beaten track. A car is essential to get to shops, restaurants etc. We had a car and bicyles. We are leisure cyclists, and enjoyed the quiet country roads. We know the area very well. It was very frustrating that a bye road, shown on the OS map and we have cycled down in the past, is now inaccessible, gated and overgrown. This has greatly increased the distance to the local beach.

Laharandota was an absolute dream. We booked both the cottage and the studio and both of them were impeccable. The cottage feels like a true home, everything you need is taken care of in a highly detailed and organised way. You could easily stay here for longer periods, while the Studio is best suitable for shorter visits. Must make a special note about the garden, which feels like a paradise. The giant Gunnera next to a fairy stream were very mystique. The swimming pool is awesome. We managed to see whales and dolphins swim in the distance. The post office /shop in Kilcrohane is a must-visit, takes you back 50 years in time. Thank you Julie for everything, we will return. 🙏🏼

The long shed is a beautiful retreat. We loved having this space as a home base for exploring county cork, and the walk to the beach is breathtaking. The space was the perfect size for the two of us, and was so cozy and tasteful inside. Sara was an excellent host, and we were so grateful that she welcomed us into her art studio as well.

Esther and Adrian and family were delightful people and hosts in every way. Attentive, friendly, and kind beyond what was expected or required. The property is beautifully situated among lanes of moss and foxglove. The accommodations were charming and comfortable.

We had a really great stay in the barn. Cait was a brilliant host - very responsive, friendly and helpful. The barn is perfect for two (plus a dog!) - well decorated with everything you’ll need, very comfortable, and in the middle of beautiful countryside with some pubs and cafes nearby. I’d recommend!

Hester and Peter are great hosts. Hester greeted us upon arrival, and she offered many suggestions for outings, supermarkets and restaurants/pubs. She also generously provided some delicious treats in addition to kitchen staples. When we met Peter, he had many great and helpful suggestions, too. Peter and Hester arranged a fishing experience for my husband, and he thoroughly enjoyed the afternoon with his fishing guide! We enjoyed our time at the Stables. We were very comfortable. The beds are comfortable, the kitchen and bathroom are great, and the surroundings are beautiful. We definitely hope to return to enjoy more adventures in the area.

Carey was very friendly and helpful. The house was very clean and tidy. I would recommend the house and host to anyone looking to stay and explore the area.

Kristina’s place was wonderful . The farm was quiet and the countryside was gorgeous. We loved the dogs and cows and goats. Kitchen was perfect for gathering with our party and the old church in the near distance was incredible as a view and in person. Thank you for a great stay. Would come back again!

Absolutely beautiful Airbnb, can’t recommend this enough! Jess was so lovely and the Dairy Cottage is the perfect spot for a getaway. Comfortable, pristine, and perfect location. Loved the flowers in the garden especially

Simon was a fantastic host. He was responsive, and ensured that we were attended to as required. Simon‘s place is beautiful, and the location cannot be beat. Getting inside was very easy, Simon’s directions to the place were spot on. The Kitchen was well appointed especially with the espresso machine. The beds were comfortable and the walk to the beach was easy enough and the old remains at the beach were fun to explore. Although the unit does not have air conditioning, with the climate in Ireland at night, that did not matter for us. We kept the windows and doors open at night, and enjoyed the sounds of the running stream right under the balcony along with the birds to help us fall asleep. I would recommend this location for anyone traveling to the south of Ireland.
