Lovely clean and tidy place in a nice location. Will definitely return.

This was a lovely stay and very friendly hosts. The location was great because it was walking distance to the Durham University Campus near Stockton. The hosts were very helpful and ensured smooth communication that enabled a fantastic stay for the two nights I was there. Highly recommend to anyone considering staying in the Thornaby area.

We had a lovely time staying in Dina’s loft. There were two separate rooms with a bathroom, which was perfect for us. Dina is an extremely friendly host and we had enormous fun chatting and laughing over a cup of tea before bed, and again over coffee and breakfast in the morning. The beds were comfortable, the bathroom was clean (with impressively good shower pressure for a top floor), and the family were hospitable and kind. We felt right at home. We are very grateful to have stayed with Dina and her family.

House inside was nice and clean. Decor was plain simple smart and modern, sofa and beds were nice and comfy and didn't seem cheap or anything. seemed nice quality along with the bedding. The towels were super soft and nice to use, nice toilet roll not cheap rubbish. Enough pans and plates and cutlery for 5/6 people. Nice quality plates, glasses and cups too. Nice to have bathroom spray and washing up liquid as we forgot both so good to have there. Overall a nice little house to stay in.

We loved this place and Sophia and Andrew were great hosts. Beautiful room, and amazing view. We stayed here partly for the Auckland Project which is well worth a visit and partly as an alternative to Durham - it was much better value. Nothing was too much trouble for Sophia - they have been letting the room before but not on AirBnB so they specially asked us for feedback on things like making the WiFi code available over the app. We will be recommending this to friends and would gladly stay again

Really enjoyed my stay at Sara's place. Easy communication from the start. Clean and well appointed home. Nice surroundings. Very quiet area.

Abbey Hill Cottages to high above W. Hartlepool. They are well equipped.Beds are comfortable and so is sitting room furniture. Plenty of hot water. Good shower.Lots of space. I would stay again.

Really enjoyed our stay. Lovely characterful house, lovely location with great walks, ideal for dog owners and the enclosed back garden being another plus Literally every possible household item, amenity and facility is provided. Sunderlands sea front and city centre with all the new bars and restaurants, plus Sheepfolds development, Stack and Fire Station and Empire a relatively short drive away. Would definitely stay again.

The property is located in a dream location (and that’s no exaggeration!). The house is warm and cozy and Jill thought of everything to make the stay comfortable and to provide means of discovering the beauty of the area and what it has to offer: from maps, to books on the history, flora and activities available in the area, to board games, novels, children’s activity books and movies in dvd. Jill was very responsive and always available to provide information on the area or answer any questions we had about the house. All together it made for a great holiday and would highly recommend.

A beautiful home with amazing history in the heart of Yarm town. The pictures don’t even give it justice. Every corner is an art piece. Elisa and Chris made our stay easy and relaxing, loads of things to keep kids entertained, lovely kitchen and wonderful coffee, the bids are one of the best we tried in Airbnb. They proactively suggested things to do around and always easy to reach out to for anything. Lots of things to do around in Yarm and the greater Teesside area.
