Family Apartment in Kiltimagh

JohnRating, 5 stars1 week ago
To be honest, I am rather reluctant to write this review. Why? Because I hope that only a few people might find out about this idyllic place otherwise it will likely be booked up the whole year through. But then that would not be fair to our very gracious hosts Joanne and Cathal. The apartment is resplendent, pristine and bright - with everything you might hope to find provided in a self-catering setting, and more besides.. We lacked nothing. Big screen smart TV, two separate bathrooms - one with a bath which I was sure to use after my Croagh Patrick ascent and descent, even a Salon level hair-dryer was provided. Two huge beds in an impressively spacious studio space upstairs. A well lit and spacious kitchen making meal preparation a joy with no lack of accessories provided. A large living-TV room with an expansive luxurious settee. But the quiet, the stillness and the closeness to nature cannot be overstated. As a retreat setting it is quite perfect and only 15 mins from Knock Shrine.

Spacious apartment in Newport

JuliaRating, 5 stars4 days ago
Four of us enjoyed the condo for seven nights. Beautiful view, spotless accommodation, quality towels and bed linens, all we needed in the kitchen. Mary and Phil went out of their way to provide alternative bedding when the weather turned warmer than expected. Truly responsive hosts. We look forward to returning to Newport, a charming village in easy reach of a variety of towns and attractions. Don’t miss Westport and Achill Island. And the Grainne Uaille pub’s Thursday night trad music session is grand!

The Hideaway

TimRating, 5 stars1 day ago
Kathy is a great host - very friendly and welcoming. There were plenty of provisions for us in the kitchen which were most welcome. The flat is much larger than I’d anticipated from the photos and was very clean and comfortable - I wish we’d have spent a few more nights there during our trip to the west coast of Ireland. Thank you Kathy!

Tully Lake Cottage

GunnarRating, 5 stars5 days ago
Excellent, proactive communication comes to mind first! While the cottage was not the most stylish, it was one of the most functional places we have stayed and was our home away from home for three days. Close to hiking, beaches, and great food. Highly recommended.

Beautifully designed apartment for 2 Westport Quay

SamRating, 5 stars5 days ago
We had a fantastic stay for a long weekend in Westport . The place was pristine, stylish and absolutely perfect for us. The location is ideal - with lots of great options for food and coffee on the doorstep overlooking the quay. The hosts were fantastic and proactive with their communication which made the run up and check out process very easy! We will definitely be back!

Seaview apartment in Louisburgh

MandyRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We visited Ireland for the first time (4-person family) and deliberately chose a rural accommodation. The location was fantastic and we were particularly impressed by the nearby beaches. The view of the surrounding mountains was also beautiful. The house was spacious and offered everything we needed. It was a good starting point for our activities with the car. We had a nice time together as a family and thank Margaret and her husband very much for their hospitality.

Ben Levy House Rental Suite, Clonbur Village

Lucille (Lucy)Rating, 5 stars1 month ago
This Airbnb is in the downstairs of a picturesque old building in the heart of Clonbur. A bakery and grocery store are across the street. Although trucks do rattle by early in the morning, and the property overlooks a wood mill, the location in general terms is fabulous because of all the things to see and do nearby. The layout of the rental is surprising at first, but it’s actually very comfortable once you get used to having an entry area with the bathroom, kitchen and bedroom in separate rooms off the entry. A couple of tips: hold the front door handle up, to lock it, and pull the string in the bathroom to make the shower’s hot water heater turn on. The owner of this rental is a delight, the village is charming, and the countryside surrounding it is stunning. Hiking trails are in easy walking distance! I highly recommend this rental.

Elizabeth & Brian’s place was absolutely wonderful!! Bright and full of light and overlooks a beautiful bay! You can see both tide in and tide out. It’s an incredibly short walk to all shops, restaurants and bars. Clifton is such a fun town and so fun to explore! It is so close to castles, ruins, an abbey and all sorts of lovely site-seeing!! Communication was excellent! We would definitely stay here again!!

One bedroom modern apartment

JaneRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Gail’s place exceeded my expectations. The kitchen includes a separate sitting and dining area, so it was not at all pokey. Although it is above a cafe/pizza shop with lovely cooking smells, it was quiet in the evening. The apartment had everything we needed. The one drawback is there is no number to the apartment and so you have converse by messenger and meet Gail for key handover.

Fab Location - Annex of Beach House Aughris Sligo

FionaRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Lovely peaceful location. Asked sheila beforehand if basics would b there on arrival and sure enough there was tea, coffee, pint of milk and packet of biscuits We arrived half hour early and sheila had just arrived to clean house after the previous tenant so we went for walk on thebeautiful beach and house was ready when we arrived back. Super comfy bed. So peaceful day and night. Tenants in main house were very quiet. Beach bar less than 10 mins walk was very good value - should book ahead if dining there. We didn't use cooking facilities in house so cannot comment in that regard. Overall loved our stay and would be very happy to re book. Sheila was quick to respond to any queries before we arrived. We put bed linen on to wash before we left but as there was only one washing pod we didn't put on the 2 towels as didn't want to overload washing machine. Would recommend

Hidden Gem Strandhill Village. Pet friendly

SusanRating, 5 stars5 days ago
Catherine’s Hidden Gem was a wonderful refuge on our road trip around Ireland. So beautifully created, and thoughtfully presented, cosy and delightful. Every amenity provided for our comfort. Great coffee, well stocked fridge, comfy beds, angel lights to guide us home, maps and even a chocolate by the bedside table. Five star accommodation. Catherine was the most amazing host and helped us with her local knowledge, advice and cosmic personality. We didn’t want to leave. Thank you Catherine, we will never forget you. The Oleary sis stars

Pink Blossom

HelenRating, 5 stars1 week ago
The apartment was fabulous. We were 5 adults and there was plenty of space. We cooked most meals and the kitchen was very well equipped. The lounge was comfortable for 5 adults. We were able to park right outside. The location was just a short walk into the centre. Just a small issue was on the second night there was some noise outside between midnight and 3am and this disturbed our sleep. We think it was people leaving the hotel opposite. We would also have liked curtains as well as blinds on the bedroom windows as street lights leaked into the room. Overall a very good stay.

Island View Apt 1, Clifden

Emilia Rating, 5 stars10 months ago
This apartment is located in a breathtaking place. Very quiet and peaceful, and the view from the windows is fantastic. The interior is cozy and inviting, tastefully furnished, with spacious rooms. The living room is a dream. The kitchen is very well-equipped: there is even an air-fryer and a Nespresso coffee machine. Stephen had turned on the heating before we arrived, so it really felt like home and it was a nice touch, anyway. It is a great base to explore the beautiful scenery, Connemara National Park, Killary fjord, and we could even enjoy a trip to Galway, the Cliffs of Moher, or Downpatrick Head. The town ( Clifden) nearby is lovely, so is another place a bit further away, called Roundstone. There are great pubs and restaurants with live music. Parking is not a problem. We were 5 adults staying in the flat but it was very comfortable. We had a great time. I can't recommend it enough!
