Peaceful getaway for a country living experience

HesterRating, 5 stars47 months ago
Lovely place to relax. It was our first vacation as a family, Patricia had thought of everything needed for a vacation with a 1 year old. Very thoughtful! It is a well equipped house, with nice beds, lots of privacy and beautiful flower garden. The owners are incredibly friendly. Nearby, you can walk, swim and bike well (for rent in Vallon-en-Sully and St Bonnet-Troncais). Many villages are a bit deserted, but we have enjoyed the restaurants in St Armand, Vallon-en-Sully and Hérisson. In short, a recommendation for a wonderful week of peace in the green!

The SheepInn

AnneRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
I spent three very refreshing days. This is exactly what I was looking for: a quiet and cozy natural place to meet with my companion. I felt comfortable right away; everything is simple and practical, in three parts close to but separate from each other: sanitary kitchen block, tent block with breakfast table and terrace block with brazier at sunset; this original configuration creates different atmospheres for each moment of the day, not to mention the sheep in their enclosure that keep us pleasantly company. We'll get your bearings quickly. And the surroundings are very pleasant: swimming in the Cher, nature walks, very nice visit to Montluçon. Arthur was super welcoming and flexible for breakfasts. I recommend this experience 😎🌻🤩

very pretty cottage

MicheleRating, 5 stars10 months ago
Leo is a welcoming, friendly and accommodating host. Small simple, clean cottage, with good bedding... A small well-equipped kitchen...maybe a toaster would be a plus ...otherwise the essentials are there..pepper salt vinegar oil coffee tea herbal tea.etc..... A very pleasant terrace if the weather allows you to eat outside and enjoy the year and the goat . A welcome gift appreciated...a bottle of wine to enhance the meal. We had a very good quiet stay in nature Lots of possible visits near gardens, castle, Noirlac abbey.. and the lake of Sidiailles for all water activities, swimming, hikes etc... Not many tourists which is nice for those who want tranquility...away from the stress of the very touristy places...

Country House with Large Garden at the Farm

Jean-GabrielRating, 5 stars10 months ago
A large country house, which keeps cool in summer, with a beautiful garden, planted and flowered. A large garden table under the lime trees, perfect for barbecue and evenings with friends. Countryside environment for lovers of tranquility. In the must-see activities: the Canal du Berry (bike, boat, museum), the MUPOP in Montluçon, the Herculat ecological swimming pool, the village of Huriel... To eat, we recommend Thai in Saint-Victor le Kin Grao and the new hostel of Valie in Vaux (super nice welcome, concerts by the canal...) And Beatrice is very attentive.
