Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Covent Garden

Joseph is an amazingly responsive and gracious host—he permitted early check in, provided excellent local suggestions and always answered questions quickly and thoroughly. His place is incredible. The location is in a quiet area near the park and a school but only blocks from the buzz of Upper Street with its cafes, shops and restaurants. It is beautifully decorated in a chic but still comfy way—Wood flooring, warm colors, plants, books. It has elegant styling and very cool automated features with automated lights and blinds, etc. that are quite easy to use. Additional shades and shutters allowed us to darken sleeping areas reasonably well. The kitchen appliances are very modern and easy to use. Joseph is quite thoughtful and even left some nespresso pods (yay), dishwasher pods, laundry pods—thank you! The sofa bed was reasonably comfortable and the regular bed and pillows were excellent. Access to the garden is a wonderful perk. Excellent Airbnb—do not hesitate to book!

Lovely place in South London! Andrew and Reggie were really helpful with all their information about location, bus stops etc. and they answered really quickly to our questions during our stay.

We had a wonderful stay at Alice's flat - great location, away from crowds but in several convenient bus lines. The basement flat was cool during a heat wave and had everything we needed, from a well - furnished kitchen to a loaded TV. Alice was a great host, very responsive though she was away for the weekend.

My first solo trip to London. Hotels are nice, but I wanted to travel as if I were living there, so I used Airbnb for the first time. I was very worried because I don't speak English, but my host Robert was very kind and I had no problems. Every time I saw him, he would ask me, "What did you do today? " "What are you going to do tomorrow?'' I was very happy and enjoyed the time he spent with me. Thanks to his hospitality we had a pleasant trip. The location is convenient and you can walk to Russell Square, Tottenham Court Road, Holborn, Covent Garden, Euston and Kings Cross station without problems. Getting up early and taking a walk in Regent's Park is also recommended. The British Museum is a very famous tourist attraction, but it is crowded and tiring. However, we were able to go back to our room and rest right away, which was a great help. It was really a great week, I got to go where I wanted to go. You too can experience “London as you live it” at Robert's place.

Josephine and her son were really welcoming. She shared a lot of useful information for my travels and looked after me during my stay. She also gave me some enough privacy. I'm really enjoying my time here.

We loved our stay with Annie, Andrew and Stanley and would love to come back. The house has been lovingly restored and is beautifully decorated and furnished. We so enjoyed the delicious made to order breakfasts every morning that kept us going until dinner time. Stanley greeted us whenever we came and went and was a welcome surrogate for our own pup at home. The location is perfect - a short walk from the tube station and immediately across the street from beautiful Bishop’s Park. We truly can’t say enough about the Egmont Lodge and the warm welcome we received. Thank you so much Annie and Andrew.

It was lovely to meet Helen, and she was a warm and attentive host. The house is of historic interest in central Bloomsbury, very near to public transport and easily walkable to the British Library (my main destination!).

The host is basically there and can help you.He was very kind and trustworthy.Also, the residential area was a quiet residential area and was "quiet".I thought it was only natural for people in the UK, especially young women, to choose this as their accommodation.Basically, the owner takes care of everything and protects your privacy.I would like to recommend this London accommodation, where you can get to Heathrow Airport with one subway transfer on your way back.I think it was a good relationship because he was frank with me about various consultations.

Our family of 5 was delighted with our stay in this particularly well located, comfortable, functional and spacious apartment. We also appreciated Will's welcome, responsiveness and kindness. We will be back!

Great location, very convenient for visiting London. Perfect rental. The apartment has been recently renovated (it seems) and is in perfect condition. We have been very happy. The owner communicates very well.

Couldn't have chosen a better location for our 2 night stay in London with our 3 kids. So many things walkable, felt really "part" of the city, but removed enough to enjoy the peace and quiet and safety of our place tucked inside a courtyard.

Comfy place and responsive host. There is Alexa you can use in the place, with fun experience. It feels like home. The location is great, reachable and well connected to multiple sources of public transport which makes it easy to visit alot of places in London. Multiple supermarkets closeby and a (cheeky) nando’s and mcdonald very close by!

We had a fantastic stay at Tina’s place ! The location was perfect ,close to restaurants and attractions, including the theatre where we watched Phantom of the Opera. We could even walk back during intermission for a toilet break and return before the show resumed, while others queued at the venue.🤭 Tina warmly welcomed us with a box of chocolates and a bottle of wine, which was such a thoughtful touch. We also loved the nearby food options, especially Yori Korean restaurant, Steak & Company.😋 The apartment was exactly as described. Clean, cozy, quiet, and with very comfortable beds. The fan was a nice touch during the warm summer nights. Tina was a wonderful host who checked in regularly and responded quickly when we requested extra bath mats. Just a small note: the apartment is a top-floor walk-up, so it may not be suitable for guests needing lift access.. Overall, it was a lovely experience and we’d highly recommend Tina’s place to anyone visiting the area ! 😊

Central location! We were really happy we stayed here on our short visit to London. We were in the middle of everything in Charing's Cross / Soho. Sara was very responsive to everything we needed and was an excellent host! We would definitely stay again next time we're back in London!

Very comfortable for three. A big bedroom, a 65 square foot bathroom!!!, and a large living room with kitchen. Sofa bed for two in the living room. Water pressure in bathroom very good. Refrigerator, washing machine, dishwasher provided, with Disney, Netflix and Amazon Prime already available on smart TV. The flat is 10 minutes walking distance to two bus stops offering different lines, and probably 15 minutes to Angel station. There are excellent cafes and restaurants within a 15 minute walk. There is a breakfast place 100 metres away with good service and great food. A mini market is about 150 metres away. Sainsbury’s and Coop are under a 15 minute walk. A large curved monitor, mouse and connections are all available in the work area. Plug in your laptop and you are all set. Michael responded very quickly to all questions. Excellent place in an excellent location, supported by a very good host. This is definitely the first place we will select when we are in London!

Maya’s flat was the perfect place for our first trip to London. The location is fantastic - right in the heart of Covenant Garden. We walked to Buckingham Palace, Westminster Abbey, and Big Ben. We also just walked through the neighborhood every day for coffee, meals and drinks. Our favorite spots were Mr. Frogs and J Sheekey, both are steps from the flat. And the flat itself was exactly how it looks in the photos, very cozy and comfortable and clean. Overall it was a wonderful experience and we would definitely come back!

Layla was a perfect host, & the location is fantastic! I would definitely stay here again! A few things that I did not see on the reviews that I feel are important to note. We traveled with 6 people (2 kids, 80+years old.) 1. If you’re traveling with heavy luggage, it’s tough to carry it up in the narrow & long flight if stairs. 2.There wasn’t enough storage for clothing or seating in the living room for 6 people. 3. The bathrooms are small, one of them smaller than an RV bathroom/shower & there’s no ventilation, if your claustrophobic it might be problematic. 4. The guest bedroom’s ceiling is slanted, which I didn’t believe it to be an issue from the pics, however, I was wrong. We all kept hitting their head, luckily, we always carry painters tape to label items when we travel, we ended up using it the 2nd day to mark the ceiling, which fixed the problem. 5. Lastly the kitchen was stacked minimally, with only tea & sugar, no seasoning for cooking. This place is still well worth it!

Centrally located to restaurants, but also quiet because it was on a pedestrian-only street. We found it easy to walk the the Tube, Oxford Circus, Soho, and several other neighborhoods. Stephen was responsive to messages after we booked. The place was clean and comfortable. There were snacks and coffee. The place looks just like the photos. It was nice staying in a duplex. Each room was a good size. It was nice having a washer-dryer too. We enjoyed our 4-night stay. Would definitely stay there again!

We absolutely loved this Airbnb. It was in a great neighborhood. Great location with easy access to Covent Garden tube station. We felt safe there as well. There were plenty of restaurants to choose from, especially in the Seven Dials neighborhood. And the shopping was fabulous! We would stay here again for sure. As for the flat, it was comfortable, clean and the host was wonderful! All amenities were listed and it had everything we needed. We highly recommend this Airbnb!

The location is amazing for exploring London’s most popular sights. Easy access to the underground and the neighborhood is full of excellent shopping and dining. The apartment was comfortable for us and our two kids. There is a lot of original artwork in the apartment and the resident is clearly artsy. There are narrow stairs up to the apartment, as other reviews noted, which is not unusual and we managed it just fine. We enjoyed our stay!

Great apartment in a perfect location: it looks exactly like in the pictures, plus the kitchen is the best equipped kitchen I've ever found in a short-term let, on Airbnb or elsewhere. I love cooking so it was just perfect for a long stay! Furthermore the host was incredibly responsive. I would be happy to go back to this apartment and I highly recommend it!
