The bathroom has a bath with shower over. The second bedroom has twin beds and a view over the rear garden and the countryside beyond. There is an open plan living space. Views of the sea from the front sitting area and master bedroom French doors from the dining area open onto a large raised deck with steps down into the garden.

Unique English Heritage Escape in *Bembridge* IOW

'The Annexe' forms part of the main residence built on the old parade ground of Steyne Wood Battery. The Battery was built on the eastern coastline of the Isle of Wight and became a scheduled monument in 2015, being one of the best surviving Victorian Batteries and, as such, all the bomb proof shelters, ammunition stores, gun positions and defensive structures in the surrounding grounds remain intact. The grounds around the property provide a peaceful escape in beautiful surrounds.

Get away to this dear little house in the middle of lovely Cowes - up a pedestrianised mews. Cowes is a delightful little town with many independent shops and cafes. (M&S and Sainsbury's food halls too). Most of the town is pedestrianised and it's 5 minutes' walk to the esplanade. The Red Jet foot passenger ferry from Southampton is (less than) 5 minutes' walk. Bus stop to Newport is moments from the house. Comfortable King sized bed. Bedding and towels provided.
