Nearby attractions include Lake Minnewaska Park, Mohonk Preserve, Sam’s Point, the Shawangunk Wine Trail, Ellenville and Blue Cliff Monastery. The location also provides convenient access to explore many of the Hudson Valley and Catskill towns and villages.

Built with only non-toxic and all natural materials with a state of the art fresh-air system. Two heating systems for the winter. Enjoy wildlife or relaxing at the river bend on our 5-acre property or explore the awesome attractions close by: winery, New Paltz downtown, “gunks” rock climbing, Minnewaska State Park, and more!

Shawangunk House

The house was built in 2018. It is very modern and open. It is located 8 minutes from Minnewaska State Park, 10 minutes from the Mohonk Preserve, and 30 minutes from the Catskills. There is a Smart TV. There is also a record player with a large record selection. There is strong WIFI and great cell phone coverage from all carriers. We have an EV level 2 charger. There is an additional charge to use the charger. Please contact us if you want to add charging to your stay.

Mountain Top Escape with Hot Tub - Blue Heaven

Connect with friends and family while sipping coffee on the porch and watching for deer, wild turkeys or humming birds. Share some of the fruits of our garden and cook in the fully equipped kitchen or grill on the porch after hiking, touring or just hanging out in hammock. Play air hockey in the attic or games or do a puzzle. Later, warm up by the wood stove, with a glass of wine or a book, get the chill out in the hot tub and see the stars or roast s'mores in the fire pit.
