Holiday rentals with beach access in Croatan Beach, Virginia

Great location and nice place for a beach getaway. The description and photos matched perfectly. We would absolutely return the next time we are looking for a place.

We were very happy with the cleanliness of the space, the amenities, and the location! It is a great location for those who want to enjoy the ocean front while having more space for your family. The laundromat is convenient and you now can pay using your phone by scanning QR code. Shawna is helpful and responds quickly to any questions. Overall a great experience!

We really enjoyed our stay at Josh & Maegan’s place right on the beach! The building is on the last block of the boardwalk, which is a great location because you can get right on the boardwalk directly outside the building, but since it's at the end of the boardwalk, it is much quieter and less busy than further down. The building is older but very well kept up, as was the apartment. The building's pool is small but nice, and there is a grassy sitting area with chairs and tables directly off the beach, which was lovely to sit at. The apartment is small (would not recommend three people squeezing in there), but perfect for two people if you are not spending much time inside and has all the amenities you need to cook simple meals. I would absolutely stay again!

We have visited Virginia Beach numerous times in the last 20 years. This was, by far, the most pleasant visit we ever had. Magued was an exceptional host, responding quickly to any questions. The unit was immaculately clean and well furnished. Sitting on the balcony, listening to the ocean's roar, and watching the dolphins' daily migration was the best part! We would definately stay again.

Cindy's place is very comfortable, clean and includes whatever you may need (besides the groceries). Cindy and Katie responded very quickly whenever we reached out to them. It is a very busy part of Atlantic Ave, and the street noise is very loud on the weekends, with the weekdays being a bit quieter. There are 2 bars kitty-corner across Atlantic Ave were most of the noise was coming from until about 1-2am. If you are a night owl, this should not bother you. We felt very safe and secure within the condo building and in the condo. The view is spectacular and being directly on the beach cannot be beat. When we visited in early May, getting in and out of the parking area was not an issue, but it probably could be during summer. I would recommend this condo to anyone who likes being where it is busy, doesn't need absolute quiet and enjoys the beach.

The kitchen had everything you would want. My grandkids loved the video games. The closets were so large my grandkids called one of them their secret fort. We all had a wonderful time! This was our first Airbnb experience. We will definitely try again.

We had a wonderful time and the accommodations were superb! Our hosts were very responsive and willing to assist at a moments notice. The refrigerator stopped working (not very old) and they sent someone within hours and made sure there was refrigeration until the refrigerator could be replaced! I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here in the future. It was a wonderful experience!

Great neighborhood with lots of options within walking distance. Support local businesses for breakfast and dinner…Convenient to the beach and boardwalk. Great hospitality!

Whit’s end was a wonderful vacation for my family. Perfect size place for my family of 6. Very short walk to the beach where we spent most of our time. Felt like we had the whole beach to ourselves which I loved. Nice playground very close by. Farmers market on Saturday which was very popular. Golf course 2 miles away that my husband and boys explored. Also a brewery in the neighborhood that was a nice bonus.

I will definitely stay again at Merrys! I always want to be where people aren’t it was so private, I felt like a local. It was quiet, peaceful, and Merry was quick in responses. Thank you Merry!

We stayed here for a sand soccer tournament and had a great experience! Paul was incredibly accommodating when our games went over the checkout time, he kindly allowed us to leave our cars in the driveway. He was very nice, responded quickly to messages, and made sure we had everything we needed. Highly recommend this place for anyone visiting the area!

We were more than impressed with the place. It was so comfortable, so clean, so beautiful. Lots of places in the house to hangout outside. The walk to the beach is so short. The street that the house is on has a lot of places of entertainment, shopping, and food. Yun was always available if I needed anything and her instructions were clear and she was so kind. If I go back to Virginia Beach, I will definitely be looking for her place again.

We had a fantastic stay at Arica’s condo! The neighborhood was lovely—quiet, safe, and just a short walk to the boardwalk, making it the perfect location for enjoying Virginia Beach. The condo itself was beautifully decorated, with a cozy and inviting atmosphere that made us feel right at home. Everything was thoughtfully arranged, and the space had all the comforts we needed for a relaxing stay. Arica was a great host, ensuring everything was seamless from start to finish. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great place near the beach!

We had an amazing stay at your wonderful place! The location is fantastic - very close and walkable to the beach. The place is super clean, and the amenities are fantastic. Kat was an incredible host—communicative, flexible, and incredibly gracious. It was a pleasure to stay here. The place itself is great, but Kat also thought about the little things that make a difference—like the snacks, and the fully equipped kitchen with salt, pepper, paper towels, plates, glasses, and everything we needed. The well-compiled local guide was also helpful. When we’re in VB again, we’ll definitely stay here again.

What an amazing stay! I've never been satisfied with an Airbnb, the photos always are so much nicer than the reality - but Big Blue was actually even better than advertised! Merlyn's communication prior to arrival made things very easy. Accessing the unit was simple, and I felt safe with the self-locking doors. The unit was clean and so comfortable, with many personal touches - I instantly felt at home. I was overjoyed when I arrived and toured the unit. Really exceeded my expectations which was such a different feeling than all the other Airbnb I've rented over the years. The beach access was tidy and pretty, the gym and beach gear a nice touch, and the foot wash station was appreciated after my morning walks with the dog. I really can't say enough great things about my stay here. Hosts were friendly and helpful every step of the way. We mostly spent our time traveling around the area from VA Beach to OBX so I can't speak much about Norfolk/Ocean View. I would def rent Big Blue again.

We had a lovely stay at Crystal’s while in town for a graduation. Crystal was proactive with directions, recommendations, and instructions, and she responded quickly to questions. The place was nicely decorated, and well-stocked with kitchen gadgets, beach chairs, games, and other necessities. This is a nice place for a getaway.

We enjoyed staying at Kelly's place in VB. Its an ideal location for anyone who wants to stay right at the boardwalk. We witnessed amazing sunrises and moonrises. The ocean was right in front of us and from the 6th floor, the view was expansive. A lot of restaurants were also nearby. Kelly was always very communicative, polite and professional. The apartment was clean with the kitchen well stocked with utensils The bedrooms were of a pretty large size. And parking was on the premises. Overall, it was a wonderful experience and holiday for us. We strongly recommend Kelly's place.
