Highly Recommended. Everything we needed for a great stay. Comfortable king-size bed; well stocked and very clean; just blocks from the beach and fun!!! Responsive communications and well-laid-out instructions for ease of stay. Given the opportunity, we will book again.

We liked the location of this apartment and the lovely extra hospitality touches. There is noise from the above apartment, so make sure to bring your earplugs in case you get heavy footed neighbors. Beds were comfortable, blackout curtains were a nice touch, and the place was nice and clean and pretty.

Such a great location, get on the beach in a 2 min walk. Close proximity to anything needed and all the fun in the area!

Beautiful location! Walking distance to the beach and fishing pier. Family friendly! The space was comfortable with plenty of room for our party of 8! All the accommodations we needed! Responsive host who was very accommodating and hospitable! Would highly recommend and will stay again if in Virginia Beach!

Arica' place was perfect for 2. It was in a great location. Everything was in walking distance and there were a lot of things to do. Her place was clean and beautifully decorated and the local restaurant close by were great places to try out as well. it was the perfect place for a perfect stay!

It’s such a beautiful view to be able to sit on the balcony and watch the sunrise over the ocean while the dolphins are swimming super close to shore!! Just beyond breathtaking!! I will say the bathroom (toilet/shower) is just a bit small and aMd the kitchen is just a bit small BUT who goes to stay in the room anyways?!?! Check in was smooth! Staff was beyond helpful and always very accommodating!!! Highly recommend and will definitely try to return again !!

Jessica was a great host! The rental staff was amazingly helpful with check in, extra towels, soap, you name it! The view is amazing from the balcony. Fit our family of 3 well. Walkable to so many things. We would stay again!

My wife and I stayed at Lakisha’s place for a full week while we searched for a home of our own in the local area. When we arrived, the building looked a little sketchy but, we were able to find the parking spot and located the correct unit without issue. The condo was very clean, spacious for the two of us and it was evident that it had been completely renovated and nicely decorated throughout. About 3 to 4 days in, we needed to do laundry and realized there was a code required for the payment required washer/dryer. I reached out to Lakisha and she responded in a timely fashion that I should refer to the home guide for the code. In the home guide there was various information of the area and about the house that we hadn’t even realized. So if nothing else, reading is fundamental at this unit. The only dislike of note was the need to pay for laundry which was $4 a load. But overall the unit proved to be a great decision and we would visit again! Thank you Lakisha!

Very nice place peaceful. We enjoyed the balcony. The place was close to everything. We really enjoyed our stay wle will definitely be back. The steps where a little to much but great overall.

What an amazing stay! I've never been satisfied with an Airbnb, the photos always are so much nicer than the reality - but Big Blue was actually even better than advertised! Merlyn's communication prior to arrival made things very easy. Accessing the unit was simple, and I felt safe with the self-locking doors. The unit was clean and so comfortable, with many personal touches - I instantly felt at home. I was overjoyed when I arrived and toured the unit. Really exceeded my expectations which was such a different feeling than all the other Airbnb I've rented over the years. The beach access was tidy and pretty, the gym and beach gear a nice touch, and the foot wash station was appreciated after my morning walks with the dog. I really can't say enough great things about my stay here. Hosts were friendly and helpful every step of the way. We mostly spent our time traveling around the area from VA Beach to OBX so I can't speak much about Norfolk/Ocean View. I would def rent Big Blue again.

I honestly couldn’t get this place a better review. You get exactly what you expect and it is priced well for the area, location, and Hadley is a great host. The host is very responsive and communicates well of her expectations and fulfilling yours.

The house is in an amazing location with lots to do and the host is very communicative and helpful.

My daughter and I had a great stay. I didn't see the negative that was posted in other reviews. Very cozy and simple place; the only negative is based on my personality. I like to know in advance check-out procedures to execute how the sponsor wishes—plenty of close-by activities and close enough to the beach. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

We had an outstanding stay! Three generations and a one night trip and yet this host and house made it feel like a whole weekend getaway. The unit is spacious and wrapped in ocean views! The three rooms are great sizes and the beds were very comfortable so was the temperature in the unit. The kitchen was just like home maybe nicer and fully stocked so you can cook or bake! Ice maker and coolers and so much toys for the kiddos we didn’t have anything with us and yet needed nothing! This was a breathtaking trip in a home away from home and Mike and his cute pups were wonderful company when we crossed paths. We can’t wait to come back and highly recommend this to anyone wanting a care free amazing trip! Don’t think twice, book!
