House holiday rentals in Cromarty Firth

Caravan was in a great spot with a golf green in front of us, dog loved watching the golfers all day, would book again, the site is perfect for the beach and various walks with the dog.

Amazing cottage that is well equipped with everything you would need. The grounds are beautiful and well kept and the additional access to the facilities in the Abbey is such a delight. Everything is close by and for outdoor adventures you cannot have a better base. We loved it!

We are four friends who spent a week together in Nairn in the Marine Cottage right on the beach. That you can see out of the kitchen door directly to the beach, and from the dining table you can see the sea, we found it wonderful! We often cooked in the well-equipped kitchen of the cottage. Also with the layout, with the three bedrooms, the two bathrooms and the beautiful living room with the fireplace, the cottage suited us four women well and was very comfortable. We had a nice week by the sea in Allasdair's Marine Cottage! And we will definitely come back!

We travelled as a family and had a great time at Michele's home. It was thoughtfully stocked up and she provided detailed instructions for the check in check out. She was responsive when we had questions. Her place is beautiful and the views are gorgeous. Highly recommended!

Vera’s cottage was ideal for our holiday. It was spotlessly clean and tastefully refurbished. The cottage was very well equipped. The electric central heating worked well as did the shower in the bathroom. The bed was very comfortable and the peaceful surroundings made it nice and quiet overnight. Fishertown streets are very narrow and parking can be an issue but we found a parking space close by every day. Overall I can thoroughly recommend Vera’s place and we would be very happy to return.

This was a perfect place to stay for our trip to the Inverness area. The home is beautifully appointed, spotlessly clean, comfortable, and within easy access to services such as a supermarket, gas station, and shopping area. Andrea and Steven were perfect hosts, providing excellent information and quick responses before and during our stay. We highly recommend this excellent property while visiting the area.

We loved staying at Neil's place. Very comfortable and very roomy. The kitchen is very well equipped with everything you need to cook meals for 6 people (and more!). Stunning place. The house was perfect really and very clean. A cupboard with basics food items was very useful. It's a fantastic base away from more touristic places to explore a beautiful part of Scotland. Beauly nearby has a fantastic deli shop (Corner on the Square) where you can have breakfast as well or tea/cakes. Lovely town. I recommend the Rogie Falls nearby and the village of Strathpeffer. If you have time, the drive through the highlands to Ullapool is a must see/do. Local Coop very useful. And 5 stars for the local Singleton distillery! Don't hesitate to book this beautiful house, you won't be disappointed. It made our trop very special!

My daughter, wife and I recently enjoyed 2 nights at this wonderful property. It exceeded our expectations in a number of ways. Firstly the property was exactly as represented on the site. It was very modern (beautifully appointed), very, clean and well appointed (e.g. Aesop products in every room). The spacious kitchen had the latest and greatest in appliances. What we didn't appreciate when booking was that we could access all the wonderful amenities of the Boath House estate. The grounds on which the house are located are spectacular, peaceful and quiet. The outdoor breakfast/restaurant was superb. And the dining room in the Boath House is amazing. One evening we enjoyed a gourmet 5 course dinner that we will never forget (highlight of our entire trip). And the chef came to debrief us on the entire meal at the end. A truly memorable experience all around.

We loved the farm house, it was spacious and welcoming. We loved the modern and thoughtful design aesthetic. The bedrooms had a warm feel with en-suite bathrooms. We loved having sheep and cows surrounding us and as we had a toddler it provided additional entertainment. The photos definitely don’t do justice to the home. A favourite touch was the Aga oven!

It was a good spot to explore the area.

I cannot say enough nice things about the house, and about our host Heather. The house itself was in a perfect spot on the River Ness, just across the bridge from Inverness. Heather came to help us get checked and settled in, and provided numerous recommendations for going about town. The house itself was comfy, modern, and easy to navigate (appliances, etc.) Walking distance from the house is a hotel/pub with great food, and a small convenience store that has just about everything you could need.. It's a pity that I can only give the house and Heather 5 stars, both exceeded expectations. I would very much like to return and stay here again.

This b&b is a rare find - Gunta is an expert host who goes out of her way to make one’s stay faultless. The rooms are crisp and clean. The sitting room is a comfortable haven. And then there’s the food - fantastic - the lamb shanks and absolute highlight. Breakfast was also delish (note that breakfast and dinner are additional costs to the room tariff). As cyclists we found this a real haven. It is excellent value for money and well worthy of its 5 star rating.

Donna's house was a great option for seeing the Highlands. Short drive from Inverness and manageable day trips elsewhere. The house itself is well maintained and furnished. Donna was very friendly and responsive

We had a lovely 4 nights here. It’s the most peaceful and tranquil place we’ve ever stayed, and exactly what we wanted. The place was spotless and tidy when we arrived and the kitchen is exceptionally well stocked with all the utensils you could need. It’s also not too far from amenities, and it was easy to get to Carr Bridge, Grantown on Spey and Aviemore. Couldn’t recommend it highly enough!
