House holiday rentals in Cromarty Firth

Caravan was in a great spot with a golf green in front of us, dog loved watching the golfers all day, would book again, the site is perfect for the beach and various walks with the dog.

Amazing cottage that is well equipped with everything you would need. The grounds are beautiful and well kept and the additional access to the facilities in the Abbey is such a delight. Everything is close by and for outdoor adventures you cannot have a better base. We loved it!

Wir sind vier Freundinnen, die zusammen eine Woche in Nairn im Marine-Cottage direkt am Strand verbracht haben. Dass man aus der Küchentür direkt zum Strand kommt, und vom Esstisch aus das Meer sieht, fanden wir wunderbar! Wir haben oft gekocht in der gut ausgestatteten Küche des Cottages. Auch mit der Aufteilung, mit den drei Schlafzimmern, den beiden Bädern und dem schönen Wohnzimmer mit dem Kamin hat das Cottage für uns vier Frauen gut gepasst und war sehr komfortabel. Wir hatten eine schöne Woche am Meer im Marine-Cottage von Allasdair! Und kommen sicher wieder!

Wij hebben genoten van het huis en de prachtige tuin! We hebben heerlijk gewandeld met onze hond op het strand. Veel te doen in de omgeving en leuke restaurantjes op loopafstand! Wij komen heel graag nog een keer terug bij Lesley!

We loved staying at Neil's place. Very comfortable and very roomy. The kitchen is very well equipped with everything you need to cook meals for 6 people (and more!). Stunning place. The house was perfect really and very clean. A cupboard with basics food items was very useful. It's a fantastic base away from more touristic places to explore a beautiful part of Scotland. Beauly nearby has a fantastic deli shop (Corner on the Square) where you can have breakfast as well or tea/cakes. Lovely town. I recommend the Rogie Falls nearby and the village of Strathpeffer. If you have time, the drive through the highlands to Ullapool is a must see/do. Local Coop very useful. And 5 stars for the local Singleton distillery! Don't hesitate to book this beautiful house, you won't be disappointed. It made our trop very special!

This is a lovely and spacious cottage with an amazing location! The small village is very relaxing and quiet, just what we were looking for. There are so many different types of landscapes to hike around very close by, marshes, lakes, forests, rocky mountains, heather fields, grassy pastures... The house has A Lot of helpful maps and brochures to pick the perfect route (with options for all abilities) if you have not come prepared. The location is very convenient as in 15-20 min you can reach the main motorway that cuts through the Highlands. It's only a bit more than an hour away from Inverness and about two hours away from Glencoe. Though with the national park at your doorstep you are already spoiled for choice and don't need to go far to enjoy some of the best landscapes in Scotland. Bridie was attentive and easy-going. She provided clear instructions and a lot of suggestions for local activities and amenities. We wish we could live in the cottage forever 😊

My daughter, wife and I recently enjoyed 2 nights at this wonderful property. It exceeded our expectations in a number of ways. Firstly the property was exactly as represented on the site. It was very modern (beautifully appointed), very, clean and well appointed (e.g. Aesop products in every room). The spacious kitchen had the latest and greatest in appliances. What we didn't appreciate when booking was that we could access all the wonderful amenities of the Boath House estate. The grounds on which the house are located are spectacular, peaceful and quiet. The outdoor breakfast/restaurant was superb. And the dining room in the Boath House is amazing. One evening we enjoyed a gourmet 5 course dinner that we will never forget (highlight of our entire trip). And the chef came to debrief us on the entire meal at the end. A truly memorable experience all around.

Had a lovely stay in a beautiful house with family celebrating a 50th birthday. The house had absolutely everything you could ever need and more! Paul was a great host, very responsive to messages and welcoming on arrival and there to ask any questions throughout the stay.

We loved the farm house, it was spacious and welcoming. We loved the modern and thoughtful design aesthetic. The bedrooms had a warm feel with en-suite bathrooms. We loved having sheep and cows surrounding us and as we had a toddler it provided additional entertainment. The photos definitely don’t do justice to the home. A favourite touch was the Aga oven!

I cannot say enough nice things about the house, and about our host Heather. The house itself was in a perfect spot on the River Ness, just across the bridge from Inverness. Heather came to help us get checked and settled in, and provided numerous recommendations for going about town. The house itself was comfy, modern, and easy to navigate (appliances, etc.) Walking distance from the house is a hotel/pub with great food, and a small convenience store that has just about everything you could need.. It's a pity that I can only give the house and Heather 5 stars, both exceeded expectations. I would very much like to return and stay here again.

Wir haben uns in der Unterkunft mehr als wohl gefühlt! Die Ausstattung des Hauses ist top, es fehlt einem an nichts. Alles war sauber und so wie geschrieben und abgebildet vorzufinden. Wir würden die Unterkunft zu 100% weiterempfehlen! Vielen Dank an Ben! :-)

This b&b is a rare find - Gunta is an expert host who goes out of her way to make one’s stay faultless. The rooms are crisp and clean. The sitting room is a comfortable haven. And then there’s the food - fantastic - the lamb shanks and absolute highlight. Breakfast was also delish (note that breakfast and dinner are additional costs to the room tariff). As cyclists we found this a real haven. It is excellent value for money and well worthy of its 5 star rating.

Donna's house was a great option for seeing the Highlands. Short drive from Inverness and manageable day trips elsewhere. The house itself is well maintained and furnished. Donna was very friendly and responsive
