Monthly Rentals in Crowhurst

We stayed at the Coach House for one night only and wish it could have been longer! The photos don't do it justice, it is completely immaculate whilst being homely and the location is stunning. We visited with our 9 month old son and Jane had gone out of her way to make the stay even more comfortable. She had provided a chair top highchair, some children's books and blocks on top of the fresh eggs, bread, milk and cookies which was so thoughtful. We loved sitting in the sun in the orchard and waking up to see the chickens, Goats, dogs and ponies. We would most definitely stay again and for longer as it is a great spot for exploring and the sheets are so very soft. Thank you for a wonderful stay and for all the extra touches.

What can I say! Hilary’s home was just beautiful. Pristinely clean, comfortable and appointed with high quality amenities. Hilary went to great effort to ensure we had everything needed for a perfect stay, right down to some fresh milk to ensure a cup of tea or coffee on arrival would not be lacking. This was the perfect country escape within sumptuous garden surroundings and vistas. All within a short drive or walk to some fabulous pubs, and the pretty towns of Battle and Rye. I wish we could have stayed longer…

Wonderful. Rebecca had thought of everything you could possibly want or need. Lovely, relaxing weekend away in a comfy, peaceful place. The bed and pillows were very comfy. The scents of the air fresheners, hand soap and washing up liquid were luxurious and fresh. The view is epic!

We spent a wonderful two nights at Kaz and John's beautiful shepherd's hut. We were even lucky enough to have the whole meadow to ourselves, which was an added bonus! The setting is beautiful, right on the doorstep of ancient woodland, which we were able to explore. The shepherd's hut itself is gorgeous and rustic, made by Kaz and John in lockdown using wood from their woodland. It has everything you need, a comfortable bed, lovely hot shower and utensils for cooking. We were sad to leave it, wishing we could spend a few additional nights here. It is the perfect location for visiting Battle, which is why we were in this neck of the woods. 15 minute walk to the train station, and a 3 minute, cheap as chips direct train to Battle! Highly recommended indeed. We hope to return someday and do some more exploring from this beautiful location. Thank you for an absolutely wonderful stay.
