Bed and breakfast holiday rentals in Cuenca de Pamplona

We enjoyed hiking into the Flysch from the front door or going to the train station to explore the towns and beaches. An absolute must is to visit the church in Deba. 2 km in front of the property there was a kiosk bar with four barrel beers and wine, our end of every evening overlooking the sea. PS: The altitude meters in the flysch on the steep coast should not be underestimated.

Nice host a delicious breakfast. Beautiful surroundings, mikel gives clear tips, we took a beautiful walk and ate deliciously locally.

We had a wonderful times staying at this bed and breakfast. The town was beautiful and the hotel exactly as described in a picturesque part of the Pyrenees. The host Nico was fantastic, let us check in late with clean instructions, and was on location, friendly and gave us local information and recommendations so we could navigate through off-season. The building itself is hundred of years old and restored and it was cozy, beautiful, eclectic and historical in feel and a much needed change from the hustle and bustle of city life. If you want an authentic experience, a comfortable room and tasty breakfast with a knowledgeable and welcoming host Im this is your spot! The mountain hikes and drives are beyond beautiful and an added bonus! We will be coming again!

We had a very nice and pleasant weekend in Ascain! The accommodation was as advertised, clean and well located to fully enjoy the charm of the Basque Country. The hosting was warm and everything went smoothly. A nice break between the sea and the mountains, which we recommend without hesitation!

Beautiful Basque house combining old-fashioned charm and modern comforts. Beautiful garden with magnificent mountain views. The location is ideal on a picturesque street of Ciboure a few minutes walk from St Jean de Luz. Claire and Jörg are lovely hosts, they gave us valuable sightseeing tips. Breakfasts are refined, served in the sumptuous dining room or in the garden if the weather permits. Only small downside: access to the parking lot is cramped for large cars but this inconvenience is compensated by all the other positive points!

What a beautiful view over the hills! The guest room, furnished with attention to detail, the delicious breakfast, the heated swimming pool, the tips for trips, the hospitality of Alba and Marc ensure that you have a perfect holiday here! If we are in the Basque Country next time, we will be very happy to come back.

We had a great time. The suite with its bedroom and small living room is very comfortable and tastefully decorated, all in a superb and quiet setting. Anne is a thoughtful host, her varied breakfasts with yogurt and other homemade products are a treat! We really enjoyed it, it's a very nice place.

One of the best places we have been too, beautiful landscape, house and tastefully furbished rooms. Wonderful breakfast with amazing view. And most important: relaxed and caring hosts Suzanna and Alvaro. Good for people who like to travel without a car as the bus from Lekeitio to Bilbao stops nearby (approx. 1,5 km to go be foot). Bus takes you to other beaches and nice villages as Ea or Elentatxe (or however it will be spelt). We loved the silence which is not easy to find! And the dog Benito. quiet accommodation and it feels good to meet in the greenery and by a river after San Sebastien. In the end it is close to a lot of activities and places of interest so we loved it. The welcome by the owners is at the top as well as their availability. Thank you again

Experienced my stay as a huge Pleasure, one of the highlight during my week walking the Camino. The host and his family moved mountains to make me feel at home and comfortable. This four generation family business breaths historic quality and is currently transformed, updated, by the new generations on this marvelous location. Marjory was a wonderful host. Very kind and friendly, happy to have a good discussion. The accomodation, the building, and surrounds were outstanding. Most of which was restored by Majory herself. The room in her apartment was just what I needed. It is a classic early 1900s building with the apartment going from a street on the front to a street in back. Lots of great architecture in the area and it is a short walk to the old town

Great place to stay to start the Camino. Very comfortable bed and clean bathroom. Highly recommend!
