North Morar Pod

PLEASE READ FULL DESCRIPTION PRIOR TO BOOKING. Our camping pod is set in the small village of Bracara and has stunning uninterrupted views of Loch Morar. Please note: We DO NOT have Wi-Fi or phone reception at the pod (phone reception is available around 1.5 miles back along the road en route to the pod) We are situated a short 5 minute drive to the famous Morar Silver Sands and Camusdaroch beaches and 10 minutes from Mallaig village where guests will find shops, bars and restaurants.

Opened in January 2020, the Gate Lodge is a charming octagon with plenty of original character. Warm and well-equipped, it has been completely renovated and sits within the grounds of a working conservation farm. Strictly No Smoking. The cottage offers private parking and has a sister property across from it so we can accommodate up to 8 guests. No check-in/out on Sundays

Set below the Trotternish ridge Taigh 'n Rois has panoramic views across Staffin and the Quiraing and is a perfect base to explore the amazing scenery and impressive Jurrasic landscape of north Skye. The kilt rock, Old Man of Storr and the famous dinosaur footprints are all nearby.

We are located in Bayfield, Portree, an out of the way quiet street that has the benefit of being a 5 minute walk to the heart of Portree and Somerled Square, which is where all the local shops, restaurants and pubs are located.
