Holiday rentals with beach access in Cumberland County

We had an excellent stay at this property. The host was wonderful, providing us with plenty of local recommendations and always friendly. The house was easy to find and exactly as described in the listing. It was spacious with plenty of amenities and a well-stocked kitchen. The decor was upscale and tasteful. The only downside was some noise from people walking upstairs, as the house is quite old. The neighborhood was lovely and it was easy to get downtown via Uber. Overall, we highly recommend this property, especially for friends and couples.

The place was great! very cozy and comfortable with a great location to so many beautiful state parks in an adorable town. Awesome that it's so close to Portland even though it felt like a world away because of how adorable the town is. the hosts were great, Deborah was so Incredibly sweet and offered so many fantastic restaurant and food recommendations (we followed several of them!). They had so many things available for you just in case you forget something (even umbrellas and rain coats!) Thanks again for a wonderful stay!

This place was amazing, great location and so peaceful! I loved that I could walk to the beach and the Main Street. It was also nice that it was only a 20 min drive from the main city Portland

We had such a cozy and comfortable stay! The space was thoughtfully stocked with everything we needed and the little touches made it feel extra welcoming. The location is also superb! Extremely walkable and close to tons of amazing restaurants. One of our favorite parts was starting each day with a walk along the Eastern Promenade which then led us to make our way into beautiful Old Port. Meredith is a wonderful host- so kind and friendly. Her pup is extra cute too. Highly recommend staying here if you’re visiting the area!

The apartment was a perfect place for my friends and I to crash while we attended a concert in the area and hung around for an extra two days to explore! With 4 adult women, it was pretty cozy, but I thought the apartment was spotless, easy to find, and easy to access (and we got in late). Honestly, I’m not the heaviest sleeper, and I didn’t hear neighbors at all. I think one of my friends mentioned hearing the dog upstairs but didn’t find it disturbing. We moved the car both days and had to park the car either around the corner and then one street over—totally normal for this type of area. Plenty of great restaurants within walking distance.

I can’t say enough good things about Jeanne’s place! It was spotless, filled with gorgeous artwork, the bed was so comfortable and the stores and restaurants are just a short walk away. Peaks Island is magical and we’ll definitely be back!

Our stay at The Bee Keepers Cottage was amazing. The property met our needs perfectly and it was super cute and cozy. The host was very responsive and communicative. And for any star gazers out there, the sky on a clear night is mesmerizing.

My fiancé and I had a great time staying at this Airbnb. It was clean, cozy, and relaxing space. It was in a nice quiet neighborhood within walking distance to the beach and 2 lighthouses, but still had great access to the old port and other parts of Cape Elizabeth.

We loved this place! We were renting for our daughter’s college graduation, and even though it poured all weekend- we really enjoyed just hanging out at the house. Mostly I loved loved the king size bed and I’m going to ask where the owner got it - slept like a baby!

Violeta and her space were amazing. The house was exactly as advertised and we felt right at home for our long weekend. We are looking forward to making this a yearly visit!

Stayed for the weekend with my wife and inlaws had a wonderful time beautiful spacious home hot tub was amazing very clean and taken care of, Eric is an amazing host and will be definitely back here to stay again 10/10

My wife, myself and our pup loved our time at Christine’s. Thought it was a great value for the area and we appreciated how many little extras were included (snacks, beer, wine, seltzer, toiletries). Location is great for walks to East Prom or Old Port, and parking is a breeze with the dedicated driveway. It is a cozy fit if you’re a bigger person (I’m 6’ and I had just a few inches of clearance from the ceiling).

This has been by far the nicest place we have stayed. Super clean and nicely decorated. Wonderful communication by the hosts. Perfect weekend getaway.

Beautiful place in great location. Did a weekend trip that included Portland based activities and a lake day at Lake Sebago. This was right in between making both super easy! The house was beautiful, clean, and slept everyone very comfortably. The view on the water is amazing, and Timissa was very responsive, accommodating, and kind!

Can’t recommend this AirBnB more if you’re staying in Portland! Jennifer was a responsive, helpful host & the home is lovely with a lot of small details really thought through. The location is perfect - walkable to so many great restaurants, cafes, breweries, & the Eastern Promenade. This was our first trip with our 3 month daughter and Jennifer had the pack & play set up for us (which worked out perfectly), allowed us to check in a little early so we could feed her after a long trip, & had the perfect space for her (including blackout curtains)! Overall one of the best AirBnB’s I’ve stayed in!

Wonderful little spot very close to the beach. Plenty of places to walk to from the location as well as a short drive to Old Orchard Beach. Would come back in a heartbeat!

Great place to stay if you want to be close to downtown but with a larger, comfortable space. The place is exactly as described, exceptionally clean and tastefully decorated. No dollar store products here! The ground coffee and half and half really made it feel like we were staying at a friend’s home.

Amazing apartment at a great location! Lots of character and the newly renovated kitchen was a plus. Very quiet neighborhood that allowed us to relax. Dave is a great host and was very helpful and flexible when it came to our check in time. We definitely recommend his place and will be back soon! Thank you Dave!

We’ve stayed here 3x so far and will always come back. This place is such a unique stay with live music right below. You can open the balcony doors and see and hear the ocean. The home is always clean and feels very homey. We truly love it here and will always choose to stay at this airbnb.
