WOW…Beautiful unique modern designed home right in front of a Bison ranch! We absolutely loved the location and amenities and close to all the sights we wanted to see (Custer State Park, Crazy Horse and Mt. Rushmore). Our family was on a trip to all 50 states and came across this home that we were able to book at the last minute and same day! Host was very responsive and offered lots of suggestions and amenities! We would definitely stay here again if we were in the area. Loved that we could park our car in garage and unload! But being across from the Bison and able to see them early morning and late afternoon made our trip!

Nancy was the perfect host and we enjoyed our stay at her guest home. She was courteous when needing to come on to the property not wanting to disturb our stay. Custer is a great location to base out to see all of the sights in the Black Hills. Nancy was great to recommend restaurants and other local attractions. She also allowed us to check in early and was very responsive to communicate. We would definitely recommend staying at Change of Attitude.

This house was a perfect place for our extended family to stay. We were all able to have our own space plus plenty of places to gather (dining table, family room, outdoor porch and patio). It was walkable to the downtown area and the grocery store. We are planning on booking again next time we visit Custer.

Adam’s home was spacious, equipped with all we needed (pans, utensils, bedding, towels), tidy, and well decorated. The layout worked well for our family of 4, but it would definitely suit more as well. Great location if you’re interested in exploring Custer State Park. Crazy Horse and Mount Rushmore are also very close by. We loved the visiting neighbor cat outside too. We enjoyed Mount Rushmore brewing for dinner one night and the local bakery for donuts.

This is the perfect location for anyone wanting to spend time in the hills. It’s about 15 minutes to Sylvan Lake and 20 minutes to Windcave NP. The place is super cozy while also having plenty of space. It was very clean. The kitchen has everything you would need, including a full size refrigerator. I also really appreciated Nathan’s quick response to a “change of date” request. We had looked at the weather a few days prior to our original scheduled trip, and it was supposed to rain our entire trip. We asked to move our reservation back a few days, and within 30 seconds they had accepted our request. I would recommend this Airbnb to anybody. We will definitely be back!

This exceeded our expectations! The room was clean, the surroundings beautiful, the bed comfortable! It was a shame we were only able to spend the night here. We want to come back to the black hills for a longer stay and are planning to stay here. An important note though: they advertise no wifi/tv (which makes sense, given the purpose of the location). This was fine for us — I personally loved the disconnect. But additionally your electronics data may be spotty. If you’re someone who needs music/tv/etc, just download it ahead of time, don’t count on streaming. You won’t be disappointed with this stay — definitely book it now! Thank you Mark for such a nice stay!

Great place to stay for our weekend road trip! We did not arrive until late and host was very responsive to help guide us to where we needed to go. Host was very responsive for any questions. Very peaceful atmosphere and space- would definitely stay again!
