We rent out 2 appartments. You are looking at the smaller unit. (The larger unit you find here: https://www.airbnb.de/rooms/21642508) The stable from 1891 was renovated into a 3-unit-home in 2016. The surrounding gardens are a work in progress. The property is quite large and you can always find a quiet and peaceful spot in the sun. The night sky is wonderful for star gazing. Up to 10 stork families nest in the village from April to August each year.

The bus (city line) stops every 20 minutes on weekdays about 200 meters away. There are no noisy businesses in the residential area. The network of bike paths is well developed, and a restaurant serving meals is within walking distance, about 250 meters away.

The village of Knehden is surrounded by the Netzowsee-Metzelthiner Feldmark nature reserve, just 5 km from Templin. The village is located in a hilly landscape. Cranes live here, but also sea eagles and ospreys. You can find otters and beavers as well as kingfishers. In autumn, the crane migration is a particularly impressive experience. 3 lakes are within walking or cycling distance.

Our house is located directly on the Amtswerder peninsula in the Feldberg district, not far from the large and small Haussee. Our apartment building was completed in July 2019.
