Fletcher Bay Garden Retreat

This private and completely separate 300 square foot space is located 100 feet behind the main residence. Enveloped by mature forest, you feel as though you are staying in a treehouse. The loft features hardwood floors, internet, queen sized bed, cozy sitting area and kitchenette. Marj's attention to detail and love of vintage finds is evident in the charming and welcoming space. Relax and listen to the water trickling in the pond outside your room. The loft comfortably accommodates singles, couples, children or a third adult. Amenities: The loft comes equipped with a microwave, toaster oven, Keurig coffeemaker, hot water kettle, and mini-fridge and is stocked with coffee, tea, yogurt and granola. There is a comfy queen-size bed and also a twin blow up Serta mattress with an internal pump that maintains pressure at your desired comfort setting. You can work or eat at an expandable table that has two comfy chairs. Internet tv is also provided. Luggage racks and an ironing board are stored in the closet. The Village includes fun shops, a wine bar and various restaurants including the lovely Beach House Restaurant. Near and dear to all Islanders hearts, is Walt’s Grocery where you can pick up necessities and sample Walt’s home beer brews and large selection of wines. If you care to venture further, you can visit the Grand Forest, acclaimed Bloedel Reserve, golf courses, quaint downtown Bainbridge Island and the new and highly acclaimed Bainbridge Island Museum of Art. Nearby towns include Poulsbo and Port Townsend where more shopping, touring and eating are plentiful. And of course, Seattle is only a 35 minute ferry ride away! Joe and Suzanne live on-sight and are available for any help or questions you may have. This space includes a new upstairs apartment. The entire kitchen was built by hand with love. You will be able to enjoy a single bedroom with a queen size bed, a full kitchen and two opposite-facing (E+W) decks to catch sunrise or sunset. There is no wifi or cable, but due to the barn's location on the Bolton Peninsula you will have great service for hotspots or calls back home. We look forward to having you!

This one room dry cabin (no running water) is a rustic retreat in a beautiful setting on our property. Lots of light. It has electricity, WiFi, table & chairs, double bed, heat, ceiling fan, AC, picnic table, and a fantastic view. No running water, no kitchen, no bathroom. There is a clean portapotty near parking. Our property is a very quiet and safe place to visit. The pastoral view from the deck will let your mind and spirit wander as you sip on your coffee or favorite beverage. We are close to the Olympic mountain trails. A US Ranger Station is in town with maps and suggestions for hikes. The marina is 1/4 mile away if you want to launch a boat. Kayaks, paddle boards and water toys can be launched from our beach when the tide is right.
