ErwinRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Great place, extremely private and very good for families or trips with friends, very local to Paignton and Torquay everything is witching a 10 minute drive! Ample amounts of parking too, we had 6 grown men and had a lot of space :)

The Garden Cottage

MartineRating, 5 stars5 days ago
what a beautiful spacious and comfortable apartment of top quality. You will not have enough eyes to discover all the art and objects. The rooms are spacious, the beds very comfortable with soft bedding. new soft towels too. There is milk and butter and cheese in the fridge. Bread in the cupboard, coffee pods, tea and a nice bottle of wine. by far one of the best stays we've had. Very nice terrace too😃. Thank you Georges for the good care and tips!

Stylish and Modern Town Centre End-of Terrace Home

EmilyRating, 5 stars1 week ago
The cottage was exactly what we wanted, we have family just across from the car park so Josh’s place was an ideal location for us also only a short walk from the train station and the town. Beautifully presented and looked at exactly the photos. Comfy beds and nice fresh white linen. The bottle of wine upon entering was a nice touch after our long journey. Would definitely recommend and hopefully be back soon ☺️

The Garden Chalet Coffinswell Torquay

LemarRating, 5 stars3 days ago
Had a fantastic stay at Gail’s garden chalet! She was a really friendly and welcoming host, and the garden was absolutely beautiful – such a peaceful spot. She was also flexible with our checkout, which me and my wife really appreciated. We’d definitely recommend staying here, and I’ll be booking again next time I’m in the area. Five stars all round! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Quiet cottage in rural Devon near sea and moors

StephenRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
A second great stay at The Linhay. Ruth and Rob are excellent hosts, very friendly and welcoming. It is very tranquil and an ideal place to relax and unwind. The surrounding areas of Torquay, Totnes, Brixham, etc have both coast and country within easy driving. The Linhay itself has been spotless both times we have been there and has all the necessities for comfort and catering as well as being warm, cosy, quiet and private. We would not have returned a second time if we had not been impressed by our first visit.

What a wonderful find! Having grown up in Ipplepen and ridden past these barns numerous times I am so very impressed with the quality of the conversion of the whole space. The grounds and facilities are fantastic - a wonderful outdoor play area with a communal barbecue and seating; a fantastic playroom with pool table, air hockey etc (great for kids of all ages); and the swimming pool is amazing (long enough for exercise, and 1.2m deep so great for kids). The landscaping is sympathetic to the environment and very pretty. However the house was the star attraction - 2 good size bedrooms, comfy beds and pillows, a massive lounge area with 3 generous sofas and a very well kitted out kitchen (there is a washing machine, and a tumble dryer in the communal area). Lynn our host could not have been mire responsive and helpful. It's a solid 10 out of 10 from us, and we will be back!

The ‘Hangman’s’ Cottage

AnniRating, 5 stars4 months ago
Hangman's Cottage was a beautiful place to spend a weekend while visiting nearby family. The cottage is clean, comfortable, and cosy, situated with a beautiful view across the little front garden to Abbotskerswell's church and pub (we'd recommend a stroll around the former and a meal at the latter). Hannah was proactive and helpful, sending clear instructions for check-in, and the place was easy to access (there are a few little steps up from street level to get to the door, for anyone less mobile). Inside, the space is thoughtfully decorated and there are plenty of blankets and cushions, though the ambient temperature was perfect for us. The twin beds are comfortable and the hosts have hung blinds to help ensure the bedroom is dark at night. The well-appointed little kitchen has more or less everything you might need to make breakfast or simple meals, and we arrived to find a thoughtful welcome basket from the hosts. Overall it was a lovely stay and we'd happily stay there again.
