The place was nice. It did have a toilet a bit higher than normal in the bathroom but it worked for me. The place was nice and it had a feel that it was originally designed for a different purpose, but it has interesting charm now. I originally had planned staying at a hotel west of this location but I had an issue with the hotel and stayed here instead. I will say that I felt much safer here and the bed is so comfortable that I had the best nights sleep in a week. I travel past this area occasionally and if I need a place to stay I will definitely stay again

We really enjoyed our time in this cozy place. Honestly, the pictures on the app don’t do it justice—it looks even better in person. We had a small issue with the door lock, but the host was extremely responsive, even replying to my message at 11:30 p.m. The place is perfect for four people and was incredibly clean. The neighborhood felt very safe, and the neighbors were especially friendly. Thank you for letting us stay here! We’ll definitely come back the next time we need a place.

This is a beautifully decorated home with good vibes, in a lovely and quiet area, within driving distance to so many activities! Amanda thought of everything when furnishing this home away from home! We stayed here while our kids attended camp at the Highlands Sports Complex, so we didn't schedule a full week - and we wish we would have! Our family really enjoyed walking to the neighborhood park and playing pickleball and basketball. After a particularly long day, we decided to spend the night at home and played some of the board games provided. Amanda is a fantastic host - checking in just enough! She even warned us when a severe storm system could have potentially impacted our drive back to the house. If we could give more than 5 stars, we would! I absolutely would love to come back to this area for a proper vacation and stay here again!

What a lovely stay! With the history of the house and beautiful scenary of the location, we had the best time. Even though we did not use all of it, but everything (e.g., slow cooker) was ready for the guests! Thank you for wonderful time! We would love to be back!

I was very happy with the space! Everything looked new, not like it had been used by people for years. It was very clean. The towels were high quality and so was the bedding. I didn’t use any of the kitchen appliances but there were many available. It was odd to have to contact Emily to adjust the thermostat, but she adjusted it immediately. The location was convenient. It was also nice that there were no stairs and it was easy to unload the car from the parking lot. I would definitely stay there again the next time I’m in town. Highly recommend.

This house is in a perfect location. There is private parking which is ideal in this neighborhood. The owners have provided a wonderful place and have covered all the bases when it comes to supplies! This place is so well stocked. Carole and Jeff are very responsive and friendly! Will absolutely stay here every time we stay in Wheeling!

Will & Lori are fantastic hosts, they were so welcoming and made it easy to disconnect and relax. Everything was just as described. They happened to be staying at the marina while we were visiting as well, we were lucky to take a boat ride up river with them! Will was fun & knowledgeable, sharing about the history of the boat and the river, and all the craftsmanship he's put in. Lori was awesome to communicate with, as I had a few questions before booking. She has a great eye for the decor & little touches that makes everything tie together. Will & Lori made this a very memorable trip for us, by helping celebrate my fiancé's birthday weekend. If you've not visited the area of Moundsville WV and are looking to explore & adventure a bit, this is the perfect spot with many affordable places to visit nearby or take in the beauty of the mountainside and huge Ohio River.

Good stay for my purposes. Quiet, peaceful, no noise from bar on ground floor. My stay was relatively brief, but the accommodations could easily have worked for a longer stay. For other guests, I would mention that there is a parking garage about two blocks away that costs a maximum of four dollars per day. I would also mention that the Square Table coffee shop right around the corner makes a good cuppa, and the President's Pub on the ground floor has a surprisingly capable kitchen. The unit itself was clean, spacious (tall ceilings are always a plus), and looked as expected. I found it to be good value for money.
